Kayo ba naniniwala sa press release ng BPI kahapon?

Sabi sa press release "Mispostings" lang daw. and people buy it.

marami sa atin dito nagtatrabaho sa banko, ang iba ang involve sa data processing.

di ako maka paniwala na ganun lang sasabihin, misposting daw between April 27 and May 2.
di kaya makapag end-of-day ang banko kung may mispostings.

pero sarili ang aking opinion, eto ay massive fraud/attack and the best way to fool the bank is make thousands of account inserted with multiple debit/credit transactions to the point that it looks like a system glitch.

i'm sure someone already withdrawn millions as a result.

    unless mag pa investigate ang BSP at ipa IT-Audit sila.

    Kung possible ba mangyari yan sa daily routine batch processing, eh makakatulong sumagot nyan mga kababayan nating Mainframe/Cobol/AS400/RPG programmers na nasa banking industry.

    years ago may kakilala ako sa IT sa bangko sa Pinas, and crappy talaga ang IT sa banks sa Pinas, underpaid at outsourced mostly, kaya mababa quality ng online/mobile banking systems sa Pinas.
    hindi kasi strict BSP unlike yung MAS dito, mga ganyang glitch pag dito ngyari yan millions ang penalty niyan kaya mga bangko dito takot ma penalize, kaya high-quality ang IT systems.

  • Malamang nasibak ang IT ng BPI.Mukhang di pa rin naayos yung problema nila.Di pa rin makapagcheck online.

  • bpi is a joke. seriously. sa branch puro ang haba ng pila, and bagal ng mga tao. sa phone na man minsan 1 hour ka maghihintay. tapos yung online na man palaging offine. leche. it's a reflection of poor management at fat profits going into ayala pockets without investing in their infra and people. nag good bye na ako sa bpi siguro noon 2012 pa, at lumipat ako bdo.. open 7 days kahit weekends until 7pm at mabilis service. online palagi sa website.

    yup in terms on banking sa Pinas, marami ngang branch at ATM ang BPI, pero service sucks talaga both online and branch banking sablay talaga sila sa service, siguro dahil sa lack of investment sa technology and people.

    I'll choose Metrobank over BPI or BDO, BDO kahit extend pa nila until 7pm branch banking nila eh di naman nawawalan ng pila, laging matao, tapos walang upuan, at napaka bagal gumalaw ng mga teller, walang ginawa kundi manalamin, online banking ng BDO at Metrobank mas ok ang uptime kesa sa BPI.

  • Yung BPI hanggang ngayon wala pa rin silang OTP samantalang yung BDO ang tagal ng naka implement. Meron din bang OTP sa ibang mga banks sa pinas?

    Wala kasi akong perang pang open ng multiple accounts kaya dalawa lang bangko ko. hehehe ....
  • same sentiments, i closed my BPI account before I came to SG which 10 years ago.
  • papano tayo kaya pag na ka babalik na ng pinas for good, after na experience na natin the joys of efficiency and automation of SG banks hehehe. eh sa pag transfer pa lang ng pera kahit saan banko talo na ph banks eh lol.
