Experiences with headhunters

Matanong lang yung mga work experience niyo sa staff augmentation, recruiters, headhunters, aka "body-shopping" (usually for IT, nahahanap sa Monster sg btw lang).
Gaano katagal yung placement sa susunod na kumpanya pag natapos na yung kontrata niyo sa isang kumpanya?
Minsan kasi malabo yung mga review sa Google (baka fake reviews ng headhunter) . Nagchechek din ako sa MOM sa mga demerits nila (nagkaroon yung ahensya ko lately). Nagdadalawang isip kasi ako dito sa kumpanya ko ngayon. Thanks!

  • For bodyshop agencies, walang guarantee na mahanapan ka nila ng new employer kapag natapos yung contract sa current. In some case yung contract mo with the agency/bodyshop eh bound lang for your deployment sa current client. Kapag wala na yung contract nila dun sa client na yun o umalis ka dun, eh case to case basis na kung mahahanapan ka ba nila o ma deploy sa bago.

    Depende yan sa kontrata at agreement niyo nung agency.
    Kung IT vendor yan usually ma deploy ka sa ibang kliyente o project, pero kung body shop eh most of the time eh pag end ng contract eh end na din ng employment mo.

    @tambay7 thanks sa reply. Problema lang usually, parang pwede ka nila ilaglag kung kailangan nila kasi di nakasulat sa kontrata. Legal ba yun? Mukhang IT vendor naman sila naisip ko lang kung di na sila makahanap ng kliyente para sa akin at kung may mga cases na hindi sila nakahanap ng kliyente. Anu na? Hahah
  • Depende kasi yan sa structure nung vendor/agency/company na yan. Sa mga malalaking vendors kapag wala kang project, pwede ka nila ilipat sa ibang projects kahit as non-billable consultant. Pero sa mga small sized na vendors/body shops, usually kapag walng client / project na mapaglagyan sayo eh terminate nila employment at pass mo, hindi yun bawal as long as nasa contract at given due notices.

  • @ohaidurr permanent, contract, or kung ano pa man. pwede ka talagang matanggal kahit anong oras. pag kasalanan mo, maaaring wala kang makuha. pero kung dahil sa mahina or walang proyekto, maaari kang may makuha ayon sa nakalagay sa kontrata mo
