Upgrade on Medishield

Hi po sa lahat ng PR here in Singapore,

I'm Chester working as a Financial Planner under AXA Insurance Pte Ltd, currently, I'm just raising awareness regarding about the benefits and updates under Medishield. Sa mga hinde po nakaka-alam all Singaporean and Permanent Resident here in Singapore is covered by this so-called Medishield.
Medishield is a Basic Hospitalization Plan provided by the government (parang Philhealth po pero the subsidies is way better)
Why do I say its "Basic", basic doesn't mean enough and it's coverage is limited (well you're trying to cover the whole country by it, thats why limited lang po yung coverage)

Here's a summary of benefits under Medishield:
-Annual Limit of 100,000$ (renewed every year)
-B2/C ward (Public Hospitals)

Sounds good po no? 100,000$ Budget for your hospitalization plan, pero you need to know po hanggang saan po aabot ang 100K$ nyo? Will sickness that will hit you just stay on the range of 100,000$ for the bills? and we both know na dito sa Singapore B2 and C wards is where all the people from the middle to lower class of income go to. In short, you still need to queue up for hours just for an 8 bedded room.

Now this is where the upgrade on Medishield comes in, The upgrade will be called a Shield Plan currently AXA's Shield Plan A can cover most of these conflicts that arise with Medishield.

Here's a summary of benefits under AXA Shield Plan A:
-Annual Limit would be 1M$ per policy year
-Can go Private Hospitals
-Pre and Post hospitalization are covered as well (360 for Pre-hospitalization and 180 for Post-Hospitalization) eto po yung mga expenses na ma iincur nyo before getting warded in the hospitals since you can only claim in Medishield if you get warded min 6 hours. If you have the Shield plan we cover these expenses before being admitted and the Post expenses after being discharged.
-Letter of Guaranty of will be 1M$ under our Panel Hospitals

and yung Shield Plan po ng AXA has this unique feature of having an E-card, most of the time dipo tayo nagpapaward or admit for cough, fevers, flu, or foodpoisoning etc. So we can cut your cost by 12$ for the checkup if you have this E-card (WOW just 12$ for a check-up) and 100$ po for Specialist check-up (Eye Specialist, Skin Specialist, Bone Specialist etc.)

The good thing about this is we can use Medisave to pay for the upgrade on Medishield, except for the rider which covers Deductible and Co-insurance (cash part po ito pero optional po)

If you're interested and need more details on the Shield Plan you can contact me on:

    - cut cost by $12 or to $12?

and 100$ po for Specialist check-up (Eye Specialist, Skin Specialist, Bone Specialist etc.)
    - per visit or per annum?

    salamat

    @kabo

Hi po cut cost po to 12$ so example po 35$ yung consultaition nyo po we can cut it untill 12$ po so 12$ lang po babayaran nyo instead of 35$, if your consultation is only 10$ then 10$ lang po babayaran, thats why po we can say na we can cut your cost up to 12$ under our Panel Doctors.

for the 100$ po if you have our E-card we can capped the consultation untill 100$ po, so instead of 150$ or 200$ you'll just pay 100$ po under our Specialist Panel. If may follow-up check up po kayo with the same Specialist yung follow-up check-up will be capped at 70$ for the next consultation.

So every "follow-up" consultation with the same specialist will be capped at 70$ and every new Specialist that you visit will consultation will be capped at 100$

For example po Eye Specialist and Skin Specialist different consultation po yun so 100$ for each Specialist. Per consultation po ito for different Specialist

    Thank you po.
