Visa Expires

Hi guys. I'm mj. Bago lang ako sa site na to but I have been following it ever since we decided to look for a job sa SG w/ my partner. Sana may makatulong sa situation ko.

1. Have been here in SG for 1 month and 17 days.
2. Nag-exit na ako once. Granted yung stay ko. Which is why I'm still here now.
3. Inapplyan na ako ng pass last March 14. Today nakuha yung result pero "rejected"
4. The cause was that yung company dapat 6 locals for at least 3 months kaso, nag transfer sila ng 3 employees to the new company para makakuha ng grant. (please note total # of employee in our company is 10)
5. Unfortunately, na notice ng MOM at sinabi na dapat at least 3 months na may 6 locals (january nag transfer sila ng employees)
6. Now, my visa is expiring on the 25th.
7. My employer wants me to find ways for me to stay while they are fixing the prob on their end.

Suggestion ng employer:
I-apply ako ng E-Pass (pero di pa sure at mag take ng time)

I hope may ma suggest kayo na ways for me to do.

@mj nasubukan muna ba magSAT? try mo if papasa ka sa Epass..

Kung iaapply ka ng Epass hindi kaya magtataka and MOM kung bakit biglang taas ng sahod mo?
but anyway try mo muna magSAT then lagay mo sahod mo 5k above.

Kung malakas ang assurance na nilalakad nila ung papers mo talaga. To avoid the hassel I think better to fly out muna palamig ng 30days probably sa ibang bansa. Wag sa pinas dahil baka maipit sa pinas immigration. Pwede naman kasing nasa ibang bansa ka while waiting for you pass. That's my case before. Nasa pinas ako habang inaantay ko ung pass. Hindi mo need nandito sa SG while waiting for it. Just bring your sg sim for easy communication with your potential employer.

@mj, tama si @Admin, if talagang gagawan ng paraan ng employer mo na lakarin at mag appeal, labas ka muna ng SG pag maeexpire na ulit tourist visit visa mo. Stay ka 30 days sa Malaysia, if hindi enough, fly ka ulit ng Thailand for another 30 days, etc. etc. Hanggang lumabas IPA mo, only then saka ka makakapasok ng matiwasay ulit sa SG.

Or sa remaining days mo, humanap ka ulit ng iba pang company na pwede mag apply sayo ng SPass.

Kasi, feeling ko since EPass na yung iaapply sayo, baka nga magtaka ang MoM.

Update po:
1. Nagbook na kami ng flight papunta sa PH dun nlng kami mag wait.
2. Yung empoyer ko pursigido na mabalik ako sa SG ito yung options nya:

- Talked to his friends with businesses na pwede mag cater ng foreigner (w/c is me)
- Asked exemption to MOM about the issue (diskarte nya na yon daw)
- Re-appeal thingy

3. They'll be paying for my trip back and forth kaya hindi super mabigat.

Others:
Ngayon ko lang po nakita ang Extension of the SVP kaya lang dapat 2 days before expiry at excluding weekends and public holidays. apparently, i have less than 2 days kaya feel ko hindi ako ma approve nitong extension.

Takot po ako sa PH Immigration. Kasi maraming questions.

Nawala na po ang E-Pass option. Haha!

Kaya po sa PH nlng, para maka save sa stayhan. Pero yun nga lang, mahigpit immigration sa atin. First time ko pong gawin to lahat and honestly, I'm really scared, tired, and mentally and emotionally exhausted... Pero gigive-up pa ba ako ngayon na may progress na? Fight nlng ako until the end!!!!!

@mj pag okay na lahat pati IPA mo para mawala takot mo sa IO pwedi ka pumunta POEA at mag ayos papers mo total mukang gsto ka talaga employer mo so maghihintay yun..

@reyven may idea po kayo how long it takes for POEA to finish the processing? and roughly how much po lahat cost nun? Thank you!

@mj if you can still exit to other countries besides PH, better for you.

@mj US$100 yung POEA membership, US$25 for OWWA. Tapos may kelangan ka pa bayaran na Philhealth ata, and of course yung medical exam na accredited ng POEA which can cost you as much as P5,000. Yung process takes less than a week lang naman if walang problem.

Kung very willing naman yung employer mo na kunin ka, dapat di naman magiging problema if madelay ka ng konti for POEA processing.
