  • @mareeya_ Typically, employers look at 3 basic aspects: skills, experience at personality.

Skills at experience - these are facts. In case bumagsak ka in these aspects, means that you are not qualified for the job in the technical aspect of it. Some companies look for these and may not consider personality anymore.

Personality - this is an aspect that you need to convince the interviewer. Dito papasok yung "are you fit for the role", "work under pressure", "teamwork" etc. Even small details like body language and eye contact are taken consideration. For MNCs, somehow related din ang culture of the company and if you are able to adapt. Some companies will get phone/email feedback from your previous colleagues (character reference) about your personality.

Advise ko lng is be confident and give straightforward answers, walang paikot-ikot. Ask questions about the company, job role and culture - these will keep the interview more engaging. Sell yourself best by focusing on your strenghts. Sa end ng interview, it would be good na tanungin mo yung interviewer kung naadress mo ba lahat ng questions nya or yung expectations nya. Baka ksi meron kayong di napagusapan that could have helped what the interviewer is looking for.

    Congrats for getting 2 interviews!!!
  • thank you! tingin ko failed ung 2 interviews ko dahil sobrang naging mabilis lang niya, tingin ko di ko na sell ng mabuti ung self ko. sayang :( anyways hope to do better next time!
  • @mareeya_ are you able to understand and communicate well? what i meant do you understand the way they speak or is too fast, you can ask them to repeat again. Do not let interviewer to wait and outplayed you. Be smart and attentive.

@mareeya_, CE din ako, based sa 2 interviews ko in a span of 1 month, tingin agad sila if swak yung experience ko sa post na inapplyan ko.

Malaking factor yung straightforward ka, EYE CONTACT SA HR. Firm handshake, enthusiasm mo dapat all time high.

Sayang yung opportunity for interviews, do your best and always make sure na prepared ka.

    @Kebs said it all.

Also, try to follow up after a week of your interview para may resolution ka agad if matatanggap ka o hindi.

    Good luck.

  • @mareeya_ yes High chance, not unless they want to verify something. All the best.
  • @mareeya_ siguro mga 5 sa inyo ang pasok sa 2nd interview. galingan mo..
  • Good day mga mam sir, tama po kayo offer na siya. Pero tingin ko po mababa? Ano po ang pwede ko iexpect as first timer dito sa sg? Salamat
  • @mareeya_ gaanong kababa, 2.5k? minimum?

expect muna matrabaho, mabilisan na feeling mo laging may hinahabol.. lol

Kagatin molang yan, kuha ka exp.. then lipat sa iba..
  • Congratulations for getting an offer tho!!!!!
  • @mareeya_ HM offered? shouldn't be lower that 2.2K.
  • @mareeya_ think properly, i think they're taking advantage on you. what pass was offered to you?
Good luck po.

As a skilled professional, wag kang kukuha ng lower than $2.2k. Legal requirement yun ng MoM for SPass.
Biglang "sorry we are only looking for locals and PRs." :(
  • @cheskapot wala namang ibang way to say it, formal or informal, will not change the fact na wala kang pass at ang hanap nila ay local or PR. Kung ang requirement ay local, PR or pass holder na, no matter how you twist it hindi magbabago yung fact na under SVP ka at hindi ka qualified sa hinahanap nila.

Best thing for you to do is move on and look for another job opportunity,
  • Ang liit nmn ng inooffer sau ok na kung 2.2k ang sahod kc tataas yan after 3-6months pero xmpre aim for higher offer parin. Best of luck!
May isang specific race na yung CE degrees nila Washington Accord (internationally) recognised. i have seen a couple of resumes na sinesend dito sa office namin through fax, yung skill sets din ay full package (CAD, STAAD, Primavera, Planswift). Sa tight ng competition, the first one with the best degree and work experience who demand the lowest salary usually gets the job. Importante din kasi dito na marami kang certifications and trainings. Swertehan lang talaga. Consider yourself lucky if makakuha ng interview.

If hindi makakuha sa MNC, try the local companies. Google the companies.
