  • @qwaszx yes there is. EP online. You just need IC/FIN. You can ask your friends who have and check for u
You can ask someone na may FIN (mga nagwowork na dito meron nyan) to check it for you.

Also, about opening an account. You can open an account sa DBS online na walang initial deposit.
  • Hello @faithy! Thank youuu will check link now
  • Good evening just wanna clarify lang po.

And it will take me 21 days daw po...

Salamat

    http://www.mom.gov.sg/passes-and-permits/work-permit-for-foreign-worker/sector-specific-rules/in-principle-approval

You can check the link above. That is the time na e rerequire ka na ng HR for Medical. Mag papa appointment yung HR niyo sa MOM nun for your registration for your card.

Please correct me if I’m wrong. hehe
  • I think your flatmate means mas sure na makakabalik ka if approved na yung pass mo which takes 2-3weeks bago ma approve. since sinabi mo na babalik ka after 9 days mo sa bangkok, by that time baka pending pa yung approval ng pass mo, pwede ka pa i-question sa pagpasok mo sa SG. pray na sana approved na para walang hassle sa pagpasok sa SG.
  • @faithy

Eh ano po yung sinasabi na "How long it takes Within 1 week, unless more information is required." sa link? Kung 3 weeks po max? Sorry ang gulo ko ba hahaha

    @apple

Huwag naman sana pero if by that time hindi pa din approve, at na question ako ng IO, hindi ba nila ako papasukin at all? or my chances padin na pwede pa?

Better po bang iurong ko muna yung RT ko from Bangkok and stay longer muna there?

At si bf po wala pang work so papasok sya ulit as tourist, may chances po ba na mahirapan din sya makapasok since may pending ako na kasama nya or if na approve ako na kasama nya and sya tourist?
  • @qwaszx IPA means In-Principle Approval, In-Principle means in general/in theory approve na ang pass mo you and your employer just need to complete the final requirements. It's as good as approved na kailangan na lang to proceed with the registration or kung ano pang extra requirement naka saad sa IPA letter, usually for first time applicants that include a medical certificate from a licensed local practitioner.
After mo medical at may result na the employer just need to schedule you for the card registration, dun na yung finger printing, photo ID, biometrics etc. Then after a week ng formalities na yun re-release na yung mismong Spass card.

    That's all.

:) GBU
  • @tambay7 thanks sir for explaining. Follow up question lang, so legal na po magwork with IPA kahit wala ka pang spass card? Gusto po kasi nila magstart ako agad. Urgent daw kasi yung post

@Vincent17 thank you po. Question lang din po. Lets say pending padin by oct 5, recommeded nyo po ba na iadjust ko yung flight ko and stay longer sa thailand muna? Or follow ko ticket ko without IPA? Possibility ba na hindi talaga ako papasukin? Or ma office lang?

Also si bf kasi wala syang pending anything. So papasok padin sya as tourist to hunt for another month.

    Thank you

@tambay7 hindi kasi same lahat ng IPA, case to case basis yung validity at yung restrictions.

  • @qwaszx 2 to 3 weeks may result na yan.
@tambay7 @Vincent17 @ezzy

Bali if ever hindi pa sya approve by oct 5, stay talaga sa thailand. Ang problema ko kasi yung budget huhu. Sana talaga kayanin. Nakakastress haha

Anyway, pa changi na kami ngayon. Otw to thailand. Lol
  • @qwaszx, tama. Basahin mo yung conditions nung IPA mo.

Yung sakin kasi, may nakalagay na permitted to stay and work. So nagstart na agad ako kahit IPA pa lang.

    1. Yung spass ko, lumabas result after 1 week.

    5. By the way, ako nagbayad ng medical ko. 70 sgd yata yun. Di ko masyado maalala.

    7. For the bank account, try mo yun DBS online dahil may promo sila na no maintaining balance. By that time naman siguro may sweldo ka na.
  • @jrdnprs thank you po.

Will keep these in mind! As much as possible ayoko na kasi manghingi. Pero salamat!!

Bangkok na ako mga kababayan. Hintay hintay muna dito at konting pasyal. Hehe. Salamat ulit sa lahat ng tumutulong sakin
  • Hello I am on my 7th day here in Bangkok. 9th day since the pass was applied. Pending padin.
  • @qwaszx learn to wait. Ganyan talaga. If may resources ka pa, just exhaust your visit pass jan until maapprove.
  • @qwaszx just wait lang, be patient.
  • Thank you @jrdnprs @tambay7 nakakaparanoid lang kasi talaga. Haha. Salamat po
  • @qwaszx it is right to excite but not to be paranoid. Usually waiting time 2-3weeks. Be patient.
  • Thanks po sir @carpejem. Sana sana next week na hehe
  • Claim it! Wala ng "sana". God is good. Advance Congratulations!
  • Rejected po ang pass ko. :( siguro sa salary? Nilagay kasi nila 2200 yun daw kasi spass. Pero tuwing nag SAT ako 2600 lang tinatanggap?

Kaka email ko lang sa employer. Hay nakakalungkot. Anyway, life goes on.

May few questions lang po ako...

    2. If ever di na sya mag appeal, mahihirapan po ba ako pumasok sa Sg as tourist with my bf kasi meron ako rejected pass?

    Salamat.
  • edited October 2017
@qwaszx uwi muna kayo ng pinas mas matagal pag nagappeal. or depende sa inyo yan mahirap kasi magkarecords ng A to A pag bumalik kayo sa SG dahil may records kana.

may gamit paba kayo sa SG? ung work mo kasi pang local kaya siguro hindi tinanggap ung 2.2K. GBU..
  • edited October 2017
    @qwaszx , sad to hear that. :(

But if I were you, ask your employer agad kung nagre-appeal na sila. If alam na nila na rejected na yung result. I personally knew someone, na nung nireappeal based sa requirements nung SAT, naapprove yung pass 3 days after nareject. Kasi after nareject, ininform agad si employer tapos nagreappeal yung employer agad agad. (this case happened 4 mos ago.)

Regarding pagpasok ulit dito, if I were you, I am not going to risk entering SG as a tourist again. Wait first kung anong action gagawin nung employer mo.

But if hindi na magrereappeal si employer. You have to trust your gut if kaya mong mag take ng risk. Nobody can tell you what will be the outcome until you are already standing in front of the counter sa airport with the immigration officer.

I am wishing you all the best.
