  • Hi @AhKuan

Mahirap po talaga i-gauge ang insurance needs ng lahat kasi ang ideal coverage depends on the individual's: age, medical history, and current financial status, dependants, etc. This is why we tend to meet clients on 1-on-1 basis. So we can give the right recommendations.

    Additional Facts from LIA:
Life insurance of an average working adult in SG should be 10times your annual earnings.

But if Health Insurance (hospitalisation) ang priority nyo, recommended talaga namin ang 'A plans' kasi coverage are on 'AS CHARGED' basis and entitled din kayo sa Private hospitals (standard room) and below.

Comparison of pricesand coverage of 'A Plans' (annual prices):

-di ko masasabi kung how many days ang sapat for pre and post hosp. Usually it goes by 90, 100, 120 and 180 days. i-tally nyo nalang po sa budget nyo and overall preffered coverage.

one unique feature ng AIA A plan is kapag na diagnosed po kayo ng any Critical illness, covered ang additional 100 days, so total of 200 days of post-hosp. Another unique feature is kapag na diagnosed kayo ng Total Permanent Disability, waived po ang 1 year premium nyo.

    hope that helps :)

  • Guys, hindi nyo makukuha kaagad kung ano yung "mura" or "affordable" unless you would compare with different insurance agents. Bakit? Kailangan makuha muna sa inyo yung age, gender, occupation and health details. Tapos, depende yun sa mga benefits. May basic plan at saka riders (optional benefits). I am an underwriting manager by the way. I approve insurance applications sent by agents, In my opinion, contact the agents/advisers and then compare.
So far ok naman.
  • Mayron po bang direct purchased life/term insurance na may tied up na investment?

May mga financial agent/planners na under ng financial advisor firms versus under ng specific insurance firm. ANg maganda sa kanila pwede ka nila i-apply ng insurance or investments from any firms. Yung agent namin ganun, kukunan niya kami ng quotations at benefits illustrations base sa profile namin from different insurance firms, (AIA, Aviva, Prudential, NTUCIncome, Great Eastern, etc). The from there, i-present niya yun bawat isa, discuss yung pros and cons, kung saan mas malaki or maximixed ang benefits at lower costs, at kung alin yung mas suited sa current need.
