  • @maryan If 50,000 - 1200SGD ang budget a month enough na yun kung makakakuha ka ng secured na work within a month. If not gagastos ka talaga. Kelan mo ba plan mag apply?
Usually agency lang for domestic workers meron satin.
April 1 ako dumating here. For me, kasya yung 30k (meron ako friends here na naka transient ako) 150 sgd for 10 days na transient. Remainder of my stay, free accommodation na. So medyo tipid. Food here sa hawker, $2.50 per meal so mga $5 per day budget ko. MRT card and Simcard + top up ko na lang major expense ko here. If you will stick to your daily budget, kasya naman. Tama si @maya mas manghihinayang ka lang if you use entire savings tapos wala ka makita na work. Risk talaga sya. I came here with a mindset na one foot is already out the door. Kumbaga, whatever happens, if I don't get a work, ganun talaga. Nag enjoy naman ako and I tried my best.

Otherwise, polish your skills pa and try again kung tingin mo sapat na yung munitions ika nga.
  • @maryan ganito kasi yun, tutal sinabi mo sugal, expect winning or losing. while okay naman agency, pero as long na may confirmed job ka, paano pag wala?

I will pray for you... misan pag nakalusot sa karayom yung payung mas nakaka inspire..

  • @maryan You mean agency from Pinas or agency dito sa SG? I am not sure lang baka pag mga health related eh meron din kc normally yun naman isa sa in demand na jobs abroad. Yung sa sugal na sabi mo, yes it is a risk. The moment you decide na pumunta ka dito risk talaga sya. As for my own experience, I could say na it's all worth it kc on my end nakahanap ako ng work and luckily, happy ako sa work ko and ok talaga boss and mga kasama. PERO may nakasabayan ako who was not able to land a job here. 4 times sya nag exit and yung last is na A to A na sya. Imagine magkano gagastusin mo nun. I think what I can advise you is that, weigh things and pray pra sa magiging decision mo kc it's gonna be a major one.
  • nanahimik ako dito ah. miss mo lang ako eh. HAHAHHAH @Bert_Logan

@maryan tama ka, may mga legit naman na agency. pero i think it's up to the person kung paanong diskarte ang gagawin. if you go here you'll spend money. If you go through agency, it may take time and you'll spend money. It's up to the person which risk he is willing to take.

take a risk, take a chance and breakaway. :D
Not sure of the actual tagalog phrase, but what I meant to say was that I'm more inspired by those who have to "thread the needle" in order to succeed. The satisfaction is just much more sweet.

  • Hi @maryan try workabroad.ph maraming agency dun for healthcare. Good luck sayo.
  • hi po.. @gary_garlic san hawker po yan thank you
  • ako nga 7k pesos lang tlga cash ko .. Libre pagkaen at tirahan .. Hanggang ngaun wala pako nahahanap na work.. Mag iisang buwan nako
Or round trip for 1 month? Ano maganda gawin po? Thank you po.
  • maryan, one way tix is not advisable for a tourist. just book RT and hotel (for a days) then transfer na sa gusto nyang place.
  • oo nga @maryan kahit saang bansa pumunta, di pwede 1way lang if tourist ka.
