Hello po.
Andito pa ako sa pinas at gusto ko mag-apply jan sa sg. Engineer po ako (ECE) at may 5 years work experience dto s pinas.
Any tips for job hunting there?
Di tlga ako mkaipon dto s pinas kya gsto ko na mgwork abroad.

    Puwede ka mag check sa jobstreet.com.sg or jobsdb. Mahirap magapply pero hindi impossible. Try mo is tailor ang resume mo same sa hinahanap nila. Pero kailangan nandito ka kasi mabilisan ang sched ng interview.

    Money to bring.
    1. 1month accomodation - 1 room averages 600 to 750 for a month
    2.1month of food - peg mo at 4sgd per meal. Makaktipid kung luto
    3. Transpo - to city cost, 1 ride is around 1.80 sgd kung Pasir Ris ka. Depends on location
    4. Utility bill - normally isnaround 50sgd for a month or max at 80sgd. This includes electricity, water, internet or sometimes kasama na tfc tv.

    These are the basic ones I can tell you about doing a 1month risk of job hunting in SG. Good luck.

    monster, linkedin mostly online applications, matindi competition sa trabaho sa ngayon, dagdag na din yung rules ng government nila sa pag-hire sa foreign talents, pero try try lang, kanya kanya naman tayo ng swerte sa buhay, prepared lang dapat emotionally at financially, good luck sa job hunting.

    Totoo yan. Sa panahon ngyn pahirapan. Kaya kung may magnda kang pay. Isip isip bago lumipat. Napapansin ko lately medyo mautak ang mga employer. Unless MNC or may process ang company. Mahihirapan ka maregular, ung ibang company nambabarat. Ung iba naman ineextend ang probi. Anyways sa mga baguhan, no choice, impt may makakuha ng work, later na lang maging choosy.

    Mas maigi po na mag online job search ka na muna bago makipagsapalaran sa sg. Kagaya ng sinabi ng mga beterano dito, mahirap ang kalakaran dito ngayon at para di ka rin masyadong magastusan. Halos lahat naman ng nandito online application din at kung may mga walkin, madalang lang or yung mga agencies.

    pagpasok ko palang sa gate hinarang na dala ko mineral water at tinapay at bawal daw magdala pagkain sa loob,
    edi ako nman sumunod...

    sus..! pagkapasok ko immigration parang nsa foodcourt ka sa dami nagtitinda pagkain at pwedi pa magdala sa eroplano.....

    yung landlord nung friend ko nagbakasyon sa pinas ksama ang anak (minor age)..
    hinarang sila sa immigration ntin pabalik n sila Singapore, sbi nung officer d daw makaka alis
    yung anak at menorde edad daw kelangan mna kumuha letter from DSWD...

    nagalit ang nanay...bakit daw kukuha DSWD ang anak e ksama nman ang nanay at isa pa
    Singaporean ang bata...hahahaha
