    @tambay7 sir Accounting po specifically in Accounts Payable. I did several special projects din po including System data migration, divestment and process improvements in my previous job under SAP din po yun. :) Yes, salamat po sa tips! super mega hanap na po ako ng work, hindi pa din ako nakakakuha, pero laban lang po! :) nagbabakasakali lang din po dito. :)

    Hi fellow pinoys! I am new here. I am trying my luck to find a job here in Singapore. this is my third week in SG. Graduate po ako ng nursing but no hospital experience. Previous jobs ko po medical transcriptionist for 5 years tapos naging utilization management nurse - insurance (USRN) / management inventory system (mediocre in MS Excel).
    everyday po ako nagppass ng application online pro wala pang tawag ni isa. hope meron na in the following days.

    @IvanLester meron ako nakilala dati rin sya nurse she keep looking for a job related sa course nya in the end bagsak nya sales personnel...since it is your 3rd week in SG if it is fine with you try to venture other career path if you really want to work here in SG....some more just like you said that you don't have any hospital experience...so mahihirapan ka, gaya nga ng sinabi mo until now ala pa rin nag rereply....just a friendly suggestion...try to gauge yourself what is your priority....to stick to your career/path or just go with the flow kung saan ka pwede makapasok... hope my suggestion help try the opinion of others maybe meron sila ma impart na magandan suggestion with regards to your case.

    @Bert_Logan thanks sa reply. Nag pass na din ako sa mga different positions in healthcare like dental assistant, logistic assistant, patient service associate, etc., I also submitted applications sa mga different hospitals dito and some were denied sa online pa lang. I will try different path when all else fail.. Thanks sa input appreciate it.

    Hello mga kababayan sa SG,

    Ask ko lang po, sa mga job hunting websites ba, pwedeng applyan yung mga positions na wala namang nakalagay kung foreigners or locals ang needed? If so, may chance ba na matanggap kapag ganun?

    For example, office admin, aware naman po tayo lahat na mas prefer ng companies sa SG ang locals, pero since wala namang nakalagay na for locals only, pwede ko siya applyan? Thank you.

    @cheskapot yup, madalas pag di naglalagay ang company ng requirements if for/loc there is a chance na meron sila quota to hire. Pero gaya nga ng mention ni @Kebs the more entries you submit the more chance of winning.....tyagaan lang po yan, ska minsan makipagkaibigan ka sa mga pinoy na malalapit sa HR or doing HR things kasi malaki matutulong nila syo. Kaso minsan yung mga pinoy na meron alam na may opening sa kanila company di nila share sa iba pinoy for safety sake, kasi minsan kapwa mo pinoy sya pa sisira syo (some case lang po dko nilalahat)

    @cheskapot yung mga recruitment firm sa job site is legit naman kaso usually they are usually looking for locals and PRs kasi dun sila kumikita yung mabilisang paghanap ng candidates sa mga company in needs. Wala sila sisingilin bayad sa candidate, tawag sa kanila is outsource HR sila mag nag aarrange ng mga candidates na qualify for interviews.

    hi all, i have been interviewed recently with Burger King for Assistant Manager Position, they told me after the interview that they'll call within the day or til next week(which is this week) pero wala parin ako na rereceive na call or email from them, i also send follow-up/Thank you Email pero wala talaga. My question is, matagal ba talaga ang processing ng executive positions or wala na lng talga ako sa short list?

    I'm also having Job-Offer Anxiety, hindi ako makatulog ng and ang aga ko magising kakahintay na mag ring ang phone ko. Sad. Thank you!

    sad. 2nd exit ko na today, maybe ito na last month ko sa sg. 2 interviews lang nakuha ko in 2 months. walk-in is not also helpful. thanks anyways.

    that's sad to hear, kaya dapat pag dating dito laging may alternative plan if hindi palarin, prepare yourselves mentally/psychologically sa ganyan, marami talagang hindi pinapalad, mas marami ang umuuwi na walang nahanap kesa sa mga may nahanap, yung idea sa Pinas na madaling humanap ng work dito ay hindi totoo, kaya before even going dapat may plan B na in case failed ang attempt.

    interview went well naman, i can see in their gestures that they were interested in me, i don't know what happened, don't know if its my asking price or because i'm Filipino or whatever the reason is. I left out on the building with my confidence in all-time high, i was really really proud of what i did in the interview. My heart is broken right now, but deep inside me i still do believe that they will make that long-awaited-call.

    I already had working experience as Service Mechanic and Service Engineer (Heavy Equipment) for 2 years.

    Saan po ba pwede mag walk in mga maam and sir? Di ko pa kabisado dito.
