@monochrone , that's what I did also. 2 weeks before the flight, yung resume ko, updated na with all the SG info. Tapos nagsend out na ako. Good thing yan. Malay mo swertehin at may makuha ka agad.

Pero mostly, the hardwork and drama happens when you are here in SG already.

    1. @yahoo.com
    2. @gmail.com
    3. @hotmail.com

    Wag nyo na patulan.

Yung mga legit na employers/employment agency, may sarili yang domain name, usually name nung company.

*Domain name nga ba tawag sa ganyan? Sorry hindi ako sa IT field.

  • Finding a job in 2017. Is it harder?

@qwaszx , recently I have been a silent reader here. LOL.

I remember answering your queries for quite sometime. I don't know if you still remember.

You are so positive. Good thing yan. Claim it.

Flashback: I remember my gf pushing me almost everyday to try our luck here sa SG last year. Sya din yung sobrang risk taker saming dalawa. Syempre ako tong takot, ayoko talaga. Pero in the end, I must say na yung risk ng pagpunta namin dito yung isa sa mga turning point ng buhay naming dalawa. Ngayon, nagiipon na ko ng pampakasal namin. LOL.

Ang motto namin nun ay, kung makahanap ng work, thank you Lord. Kung hindi, thank you Lord pa din.

Tama ka, maging successful man o hindi, it will be a very meaningful time sa buhay nyo ng bf mo. At least magkasama kayo na susubok.

I can only wish you and your bf good luck.

Kung hindi nyo susubukan, "what ifs?" will haunt you for the rest of your lives.

    :)

Ako kasi 2 years exp ko sa Pinas. Civil Engineer ako pero working as QS dito ngayon.

Same tayo after Chinese New Year kami pumunta dito this year.

  • Ano mas matimbang sa MOM: ung tinapos na kurso or yung Work Experience?

:(. If I were you, gagamitin ko na lang yung tinapos ko as Nurse. Kaso one thing pa ulit, Nursing Aide magiging work mo dito if ever (under work permit yata to) medyo maliit sweldo. Pero may nabasa akong news na magbuboom ulit yung healthcare industry dito for the next few years.

    http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/30-000-more-healthcare-workers-needed-by-2020-as-population-ages/3221526.html

Fair work practice kasi dito SG, rare yung case ng "underemployment". Dito malabo.

    Yun lang. :)

https://services.mom.gov.sg/sat/satservlet, pwede mo i-assess yung sarili mo using this. Ginamit ko yan nung nagapply ako dito. So far medyo magagauge mo na if maaapprove ka o hindi.

@monochrone , mas malaki ang chance mo if yung titirhan mong bahay dito may landline, kasi thru company's website, you can see their direct line, then pag natawagan mo na, ask them to forward your call sa HR department, then you can aggresively ask if may hiring at kung open for foreigners. Ask that person's personal email address as well as yung hrd email address.
    :)

After a week or two, magfollow up ka sa pinasahan mo ng resume para maassess mo if may mangyayari sa application mo.

Last time ininvite ako sa office to verify the IPA. No need to worry if papuntahin ka office. Congratulations.
