@thematrix , korek. Meron din ako lupa sir, kaso hnd pa napatayuan, hehe. isa isa lang pra hnd din sagad. Mhirap pag lahat condo, u dont want to put all the investment sa iisang basket sabi nga. So, explore ako Agri, Telco, and Realty. Yan ang mga tutok kong investment sa Pinas. Maganda sa property sa Pinas is always tumataas ang presyo ,kasi nga 3rd world tayo, unlike dito sa SG and the rest of 1st world, nag fa-fluctuate ang property nila.

Hindi ko alam sa field ng CPA, but hindi nila masyado pinapansin yung board exam sa Pinas, unless mga certification yun from International standards like CISCO, SIX SIGMA, etc. For normal accountancy job, I think you can practice, but being a CPA, need mo mag take ng Singapore local certification. I'm a board passer, though not top notcher (inside the top 100 lang, ). Nagamit ko lang sya once sa Pinas, then nung dumating ako dito, palagi ko fino-flaunt ung board exam score ko, but never ako tinanong regarding dun. Mas intresado sila sa naging experience ko. Definitely, meron kang edge, but I suggest give it a 2 years experience in Pinas, para you can start strong pag nag apply kna dito sa SG.
@sary1200 , ok ganito yan. if 3 months ka lang nag work, hnd ka aabot sa minimum na taxable pay, which is S$22k per annum. You dont need to file an Income Tax Return.
Hi @cym , If you are the employer hiring and dont want them to settle papers before flying your prospect employee to SG, the only risk you will have is the Ph IO:
1. If first time they will travel overseas, high chance that they will be questioned in Ph IO. They should be well-coached before and must answer them with confidence. If all the return ticket and accommodation are properly arranged, it can be a smooth pass, but no one can tell. Be prepared when they will be off-loaded in Ph.
Now, SG IO, I assume that you will already apply for the pass before they fly in, so having IPA is a legal document they can show to SG IO and they can pass immigration without any problem.
I got former colleagues who were hired from Ph but they secured all the documents (POEA, etc) before leaving the country because its their first time to travel. So, its also about the employee you're hiring, if they agree to fly to SG without proper docs. There is always that risk. Hope this helps.
