Not so fluent in english

Is it impossible to find a job kung hindi ka ganun kafluent sa english language?

Comments

  • no. maraming hindi fluent.

hindi naintindihan ang tanong - ipaulit ang tanong or pdeng sabihin "what do you mean"
ang sagot ay nasa utak ngunit hindi matranslate sa english - hingang malalim at kung hindi talaga masabi through sentences, gumamit ng phrase or keywords nalang.
  • Okay po. Thankyou sa tips po kabayan.
  • Before the interview, syempre @zabiyah, mag practice ka na. If kaya mo, i-anticipate mo na yung mga posibleng itanong sa yo, personal or work related man. memorize mo na din po yung mga usual responsibilities ng accountant.

I propose na manood ka po sa youtube ng mga "how to prepare for a job interview" Highly recommended po yung youtube channel ni Linda Rainier. hanapin mo na lang po sa youtube.
  • Okay po. Thank you sa help.
  • maninibago ka din sa english dito dahil sa accent kaya sa umpisa medyo di mo talaga maiintindihan pero pag nag tagal tagal na at madami kana nakakausap makukuha mo din
  • @zabiyah the way you understand them is better than being fluent in speaking... ('where are you put up? what's your discipline? ) how well you think on your feet...
  • Some said that you don't have to be fluent in English to land a job in Singapore as long as you can speak in an understandable manner or average level and able to catch up to their so-called "Sing-lish" accent.

Is this really true? I worked in an American company before, and English communication is really a big deal there. I almost get fired due to my English communication.

I worked as a NOC Support back then.
  • I guess u dont need to be grammatically correct all the time, pero dpt marunong ka pa rin makipagconverse kasi English ang 1st language dito. Practice lang yan, sa una nkkapanibago, pero halos lht nmn ng Pinoy na lalo at nakoagtapos, for sure marunong makipagconverse in english. kpg araw2 kna nakikipag-usap, masasanay ka din. For now, watch and research ka ng q&a interviews na related sa field mo. at magpractice ka.
  • Neither am i.. :) ...... kapag bibili ka hawker turo turo lng magkakaintindihan na.
  • yung mga ate nga dto ang gagaling mga english at naiintindihan ng mga amo nila ikaw pa kaya...
  • @zabiyah , just need to know singlish lah. no need to be fluent what. somemore they cant even speak good english mah. so die die, just go to interview. By right, you should know how to speak simple english, correct o'not? All the best kabayan!
  • ayio, dun be so kan cheong, just relax liddat! confirm can get job!
