  • hi @Juls , HR can also be a Talent Acquisition Personnel or commonly called Head hunter. My chance ka since you have 4 yrs of experience, but of course theres no guarantee. Most HR's na colleague ko sa 5 company na napasukan ko, they are all local. Maybe because they need to know the regulations and pasikut sikot sa local governmentBut, surprisingly, ung mga head hunters is diverse. Merong Indian, and meron ding Pinoy. So I suggest lawakan mo ung job search mo. And if u have friend or relative here, ask if you can use their phone and address sa resume mo. If someone called, sbhin lang na out of SG ka and try to arrange an interview according sa plan mo. Hope this helps kabayan. God bless!
Ako ang nag-apply ng sarili kong pass when I landed a job here. Research din ako kng pano gagawin at that time. Good luck!
  • Hi @RDG Thank you sa advice mo, it means a lot! I’m planning to land in Singapore by August 4 this year, mga kelan kaya ako magstart magsend ng resume gamit ang Sg phone number and Sg address? Kasi Nagdadoubt ako if ever baka maiinvite agad ako for interview e halos more than a month pa ko bago makarating ng SG
  • Hi @iamanndee Thank you din sa reply, since you are already employed as Hr. Enge naman ng mga tips mo how did you get that job? Thank you kababayan☺️
Good luck!
  • @iamanndee tingin mo okay lang magsend na ng resume starting from now gamit sg phone number at Sg address sa resume? Thank you ☺️
  • Normally kc smsgot sila after 3-4weeks ka ngsubmit. From there, i-gauge mo nln sis. If aug ka ppnta dito, maaga pa ata mxado.
  • Okay sige kuha ko na. By 2nd week of July nalang ako magsend, magcocollect nalang muna ako ng mga job hiring and websites. Thank you sis @iamanndee
  • Welcome sis!!!!
Pede kaya magpart time sa food and retail dyan sis medyo limited kasi budget ko para sana May additional income while applying for a job.
    Thank you sis @iamanndee ☺️☺️☺️
  • No sis, bawal mgpart time ang workpass holder. Kinukulong sis. If me time ka, basa ka www.mom.gov.sg for details.
  • hi @Juls , yea its good andyan si @iamannedoi pra mag advise, same field kayo. Regarding application, I suggest mag apply kana now online, its 1.5 months before Aug, so mabilis lang yan. Tama si annedoi, they will respond mga 3-4 weeks, pero additional 2 weeks doesnt make any harm, lalo na kung gusto ka tlga nila. If they called ung sg number mo, reply ka sa email, just tell them that ur back in Ph, and will be in SG this Aug. If nagmamadali sila, bka pwede mapa aga ang pnta mo SG, since meron kna outright interview. Just cross the bridge when u get there, ika nga. Importante is, ur sending out resume non-stop. and pray na mapansin eto ng mga HR dito sa SG. God bless kapatid!
  • E sis bawal ba magpart time habang naghihintay ng job interview? Ang part time worker ba dadaan Parin sa Mom ang work permit niya? Thank you sis @iamanndee
  • Tama ka @RDG sige this weekend irerevise ko yung resume ko and start na ko magsend online ng CV.
Medyo mahigpit ba sila when it comes to interview? I mean kelangan very fluent? Saka how many interviews to undergo bago mahired?
  • Bawal. Part time work are for locals, PR and DP holders.
  • Ah ganun pala yun. Naku kailangan pala talaga malaki pera na dala papunta dyan. Magkano dala mong pera sis pagpunta mo dyan? Thank you sis @iamanndee
  • @Juls very straight forward sila dito. Each company has their own process, but in general, I would say HR then Hiring Manager, then if umabot ka sa director, more like formality nalang at gusto ka makausap ng director / boss of hiring manager. Then offer na. Some big companies can range from 2 weeks to months. Since madami dadaanan na hierarchy. SME (Small-Medium Enterprise), they act faster. No need to be very fluent. Go to youtube and pag aralan mo ung Singlish nila. At first, very hard to understand, pero knowing Filipinos, we can adapt faster. haha.
  • Wow sige sige thank you so much @RDG sige manunuod ako ng YouTube re the way of their singlish. Yung job offer ba after or before approval of spass? Kailangan approve muna ang spass before job offer tama ba? ☺️☺️☺️
  • @Juls , nope, Offer comes first, then you agree and sign on the dotted line. Then, they will get ur credentials, degree, passport copy, etc. After that, submit pass to MOM for approval. Wait for 1 week minimum. S pass approved, MOM issue IPA for you to comply if need mo medical, etc. Then go to MOM for card collection. Start ur work in SG. :)
  • So approved muna ang spass Before medical tama ba Sir? @RDG
  • tama @Juls . Once Spass approved, MOM will send In-Principle Approval (IPA) to your employer. Andun nakalagay ung details ng contract mo and lalagay nila if you need any medical check. Usually is Xray and HIV, not like saten na full check up.
  • Get your facts , IPA>Medical>Spass Card
  • The yung usually 2 years Renew ng spass tama ba?
Yung sa medical are they going to cater the payment o Si employee? Thank you @RDG ☺️☺️☺️
  • @Juls may option ang emplyer to indicate whether 12mos or 24mos. I suggest na magback read ka or check mo mismo mom website. Andun lht ng sagot sa katanungan mo.
  • Sige sige sis babasahin ko yan this coming month of July since last day ko na sa work sa June 29 medyo busy kasi ako kaya Di ako masyado makapagbasa. Thank you sis @iamanndee
  • @juls, to answer your question, the employer should pay for the medical. But I've heard some employer salary deduct the medical. 1st things 1st, secure the job.
  • Hahahah oo nga tama! I have good news meron na kong sg address At phone number pinagamit sakin ng friend ko na singaporean so this weekend my priority is to revise my resume and start to send resume online. Thank you @rgd
  • What month po kaya peak season for hiring sa SG? Thank you
  • @mhaj sabi nila after chinese new yr, pero xempre during this time din mas matindi ang competition.
  • can i just say " Anytime" iba iba kasi ang Financial Year End ang mga companies...
