Magandang araw po sa lahat! Gusto ko lang po i-share itong natutunan ko sa dati kong IT manager na ngayon ay IT Director na sa isang ICT company diyan sa Singapore. Nitong nakaraang araw lang po nagkausap kami, tinanong ko siya kung ano ba ang pinagbabasihan nila sa pagpili ng candidate. Kung yung mga candidates na may IT certificates + experience ba ay malaki ang advantage over sa mga candidates na walang IT certificates pero may experience.
Ang sagot niya, when shortlisting candidates, mahalaga yung qualification at experience na nakalagay sa resume ng candidate, may advantage yung candidate na may IT certificate + experience kumpara sa candidate na walang IT certificate pero may experience. Pero it is an advantage for first impression only.
The other very important part na inoobserbahan talaga nila is yung attitude at mentality ng candidate during the interview. Hindi ko alam kung paano nila nagagawa yun methodically pero I'm sure they trained for it at siyempre through their years of experience na rin. Attitude and mentality is very important daw so the candidate can work well with the team. So kahit maraming IT certificates + relevant experience ang candidate, pero kung hindi pumasa sa attitude and mentality test no use din.
In summary, importante ang mga ito:
1. IT Certificates or certificates that is relevant to your field of work at relevant experience para mapansin ka ng employer at mabigyan ka ng interview.
2. Good attitude at mentality para magustuhan ka ng employer at I-apply ka ng pass from government.
