Hello uli sa lahat. Nasa SG na ako, Today is my 10th day here. At naninibago na naman ako sa paghahanap ulit ng work. (I used to work here before.) Sa mga may alam sa recruitment process, how soon do prospective employers usually contact applicants who submitted via job hunting sites? Nakikita ko kasi for example sa Jobstreet, nakalagay ilan kayo applicants for a specific job (minsan 100+ kayo). With this in mind, is it reasonable to still hope after 2 weeks na tatawag yung mga inapplyan mo?

Hi @EllisBell same process pa rin how you did before. This time mas tougher lang due to crisis. Lets hope for the best. Alternatively direct submission sa mga company websites. So need mo mag google ng mga companies sa singapore and visit their sites. Try to see if they have a career section. Ang iba kasi hindi nagaadvertise sa mga jobstreet.

Hi @Admin , thanks sa quick reply! Yes, doing that. Using the list from Randstad of best companies in SG. Ni-alphabetical order ko din, Nasa F palang ako. Hehe.

@fearless ang alam ko basta first time mo mag apply thru online extension without any record na nag exit ka or re enter sg w/in six months normally naaapprove sya..for normal extension (30days) dna kelangan sponsor.

tama ka, pag naapprove dmo n kailangan lumabas sg.

HI po mga kababayan. tanong lang po kung may alam kayo hiring nasa SG po ako now and naghahanap ng work kaso wala pa po tumatawag sa mga na applyan ko na khit isa. Civil engineer po ako w/ 4years experience as a site engineer..

Yung Lazada naghahanap sila ngayon ng may knowledge sa Kubernetes, Puppet at Big Data. Baka meron dyan naghahanap ng work na may skillsets na nabanggit.

Helo All! Im new in this group. I would like to seek help for an Accounts job. I have a total of 10 years experience. 4 years po sa Bank as Service Staff in Philippines and the rest as Accountant in UAE. Nasa pinas pa po ako but trying my luck online sa pag apply habang ng aantay na sana may feedback na matanggap.

Please let me know po if may alam kau na hiring. Sana po matulungan nyo po ako and if you have any suggestion that would speed up my application. I really wanted to start a career in Singapore.

@afryl1986 based on experience wala mag rereply syo if you are in Philippines lalo na Accounts work ang hanap mo, madami ka kalaban dto. Usually kailangan andito ka, company will entertain those who are in SG kasi madalas ang hiring sa accounts is immediate lalo na pag kailangan kailangan nila.

@afryl1986 your best chance to get a call is get a sg sim card and change to an sg address. Then if you have an interview - fly here.

@afryl1986 so in other words gaya nga ng sabi ni Admin...need mo pumasyal muna dto para makakuha ka ng SG sim card...unless meron ka kamag anak dto na pwede magdala syo ng sim at magamit address nila.

@carpejem salamat. oo im starting na ngaun to apply online through job portals. sana maswertehan. purpose ko kc sana na matingnan ko din if may mgreply ba sa applications ko sa email. Plan ko mgvisit sa singapore by June pa sana.

@Admin thank you po sa idea nyo. Try ko makasecure ng sim card ng sg. Actually, may ngsuggest sa akin na friend na pwed din daw ako na mg thailand muna habang ng aapply. And since malapit lng daw po, pwed ako mgtravel to singapore agadif may interview. Ano po tingin nyo? ok din po ba ang set up na yan?

Magandang araw po! 19days na po ako sa SG wala pa din po ako nahahanap na work. Finance po ang field ko with 5 years experience in MNC. Maraming salamat po, baka may makahelp po.

PS: Magtatry na po ako ng extension ng visa sa ICA tom sa ika-20th day ko po.

@einniw anong specific field sa Finance? FinTech/IT? Finance/Banking? Finance/Capital Markets? Fixed Income? Insurance? Investment Bank? FX? Equity? Compliance? Risk? Accounting? o Debt collector?
Malaking industry ang finance, sell yourself sa core competency and experience mo hindi sa buong Financce domain.
