How much salary should I ask?

Hi po! Newbie po ako. Konti pa lang po ang idea ko sa pano ang mag work sa SG.

Digital marketing / online marketing po ang ang experience ko dito sa pinas.

Magkano po ba sahod sa ganito line? Iba iba kasi nakikita ko sa online.

Magkano po ba ung dapat salary na enough sa cost of living sa sg? At enough para maka ipon din.

Let say ung 3k sgd is enough na po ba? (Sorry no idea po talaga).

With all the daily expenses, enough ba to? At makaka pag tabi paba ako?

min = 2,000
ave = 2,400
max = 2,800

@prnc02 If you can leave it blank or just put "negotiable". Position like this is very sensitive.
If required, then just start with minimum Salary (2.2K) for S-pass.

Are you still in PH or already in SG?

@carpejem I see. Thank you for the helpful tip! I'm still in PH. I'm submitting my application and resume thru online portals. I'm not sure tho if this is an effective way than applying in SG. I saw some tips online, saying that it's better to apply online while in PH because it will be the same online submission process when you apply while in SG.

I'm not sure about this tho.

I have a question please. If I will stay in SG for a month to apply, how much money should I prepare? I hope there is a previous discussion about it here.

Hi! @prnc02 i'm in the same industry as you. I started Junior Digital Marketing Exec around 2 years ago 2,900 then I got promoted after maybe around 10 months to senior exec to 3900 then now at manager level now at 5k. 29 years old ako, in terms of if it's enough, I can say it is more than enough for a single lady like me. Wala naman ako pinapaaral sa Pinas, at walang nakaasa sakin na pamilya, pinapadalhan ko lang yung mommy at daddy ko ng pambayad ng bills sa bahay sa pinas. So ako lang talaga pinagkakagastusan ko haha. Nakapagtravel na ko kung saan saan, nakakalabas din with friends with ipon at investments na din. So ang advice ko is magpabibo ka at galingan ko mo ng todo para mapromote ka ng mabilis.

Hi all, hingi po sana advise, I'm currently employed here in SG holding EP but my declared salary is not what I actually received. Mahihirapan ba ako mag-apply sa other companies pag ganto? Pag nagtanong ng previous salary, yung declared ba sabihin ko? sobrang laki eh

@prnc02 If an opportunity comes in but below of the salary you are expecting, just grab it and do your best. who knows, sooner or later you will get the salary package that you want.

When it comes to salary, SG vs New Zealand / Australia, konti lang difference ng exchange rate. For example, you are earning 5000sgd here in Singapore, same lang ba yan sa AU or NZ? or need mo higher salary pag andun ka sa AU or NZ? If meron may advise dyan, paki reply po. Planning to go AU or NZ kasi. Thank you.

@Vincent17 pero sa salary nga po, not sure kasi ako how much should I ask, if same lang ba sa SG salary would be fine, ayaw ko rin na OA yung asking salary ko. gusto ko fair saken at fair sa company. pero yun nga po, no idea pa ako kung sapat ba yung 5000sgd (around 4600AUD) per month living in AU and NZ

@apple consider mo din po yung Withholding tax kasi dito sa SG, mas mababa ang tax compared sa AU/NZ.
