Hi mga kabayan, isa po ako sa mga na-reject sa pass renewal due to salary. Itinaas naman yung sahod pero hindi siya pasok sa requirements ng MOM and unfortunately, hindi kaya ng employer itaas pa ung salary. Here I am back to zero pero hindi nawawalan ng pag-asa. I've been working here since 2010 and with the current employment state, sobrang hirap maka-hanap ng work. Nasa retail line ako. Gusto ko lang sana malaman kamusta pag-aaply niyo? hehe!

    @carpejem Rejected yung pass renewal nya. Madaming ganyang case sa ngayon kasi habang tumatagal ka dito sa SG, tumataas din yung pass quota mo. Sa katwiran ng mom, dapat tumataas ang value mo over time. Mataas na value equates to mataas na sahod. Kapag hiinde, rejected ang pass.

    Ay Ganon po ba? May range ba sila na tintingnan kung magkano dapat yung itaas ng sahod mo? Mahirap din pala. Baka mamaya, kuripot sa increase yung employer. Hindi ka ma-approve sa renewal.

    Hi po ulit sa inyo. Share ko lang ung happiness ko, I was able to find an employer na willing ako i-hire. God is really good! After ng masaklap na pinag-daanan ko with my previous employer (pass renewal rejected), heto at binigyan niya ako ng another offer. Hindi ko na po i-eelaborate yung masakit na pangyayari with my previous employer pero katulad na sabi ng nakararami, "when a door closes, a window opens".

    I was given two job offers at 2 different companies. Yung isa po ay direct hire and another is through agency. Although small company yung direct, I chose that instead para hindi na ako mag-babayad ng agency fee. But the fight does not stop here, kailangan po muna ma-approve yung pass para tuluyan na mawala ang kaba.. Hoping and praying na maging ok ang lahat.

    @mikhaila, congrats. I am also working on a SME company here in SG. With good pay, very nice bosses and 5 days work. :)

    I must say mas may job security sa maliliit na company ngayon lalo na at mag isa ka lang/kaunti lang kayo sa office.

    Saka ka na lang lumipat ng big companies kapag nakabawi na ang ekonomiya. :)
