Singapore no longer a shopper's paradise

More bad news guys, I guess this is related to the previous post regarding the 12 affected jobs in SG. I dont think bloomberg articles are hoax. It just proves online shops now are the trends today. I guess you guys noticed it too that there are more empty spaces on malls nowadays here in Sg. I often go to Suntec to do window shopping and also noticed a lot of empty shop. One apple retailer on 2nd level also closed down recently. With the rise of Lazada, qoo10, zalora, and other online shops . It is not impossible for mall to loses tenants.

  • yup.. everyon shops online these days.. Qoo10 or carousell
  • Businesses shifted from having physical stores to online/ecommerce, money is now on logistics business. Qoo10 even have female delivery drivers.
  • True! some 5 years ago daming opening sa retail. mapa cellphone shop kumukuha ng mga pinoys. may kilala ko bantay sa shop ng cellphone store sa tampines. kaso mga cellphone shop pinapasok na ang QOO10. tsk tsk tsk.
