SPass Help!

So I got accepted by a company as web developer. Salary is $2,200. (btw, is the salary fair enough? I mean, for me as starting, ok lng para lng sana maka spass)

Then sinubukan ko yung self-assessment here: https://services.mom.gov.sg/sat/satservlet. The result is "the individual is UNLIKELY to qualify for either an Employment Pass (EP) or an S Pass".
I have college degree in Philippines (Ateneo). No experience yet abroad. with 4.5 years experience in PH.

The question is, Why did I fail?

@kingofalltrades taasan mo sahod brad, until pumasa ka. Then sabihin mo sa HR nung company para aware sila in case hindi sila nagSAT sayo.

Accurate ang SAT lalo na sa salary requirement.

@isorn4x i just googled the minimum salary for spass and it's $2,200. Hmm?

@kingofalltrades 2.2 oo pero salary palang yan. Ang SAT is not only salary, you have to consider other factors like years of experience and even age.

kung tanders kana for example 40 years old with 20 years experience, panigurado rejected ang 2.2k sa SAT.

@Kebs I see. 24 yrs old ako with 4.5yrs exp. tinry ko ulit with 2,600 salary and pumasa na for spass. 2600 minumum ko dapat.

Tama si Kebs, inform mo HR. Accurate ang SAT. Wag na wait na mareject pa muna bago taasan, sayang ang panahon.

working in SG till 2012, i am not a degree holder and diploma lang and hindi din pumasa sa SAT kahti minsan pero pasado pa din sa MOM ang pass. So para sakin hindi accurate ang SAT.

And on the same note, may mga pumasa din sa SAT na hindi naman pumasa sa mismong pass application na.
May mga ibat-ibang unknown variables at play talaga diyan, SAT is just like a horoscope, gabay lang pero zero guarantee na approved ang pass.

@chrisisx diploma as in ung course na less than 4yrs? or high school diploma? May kakilala kasi ako naapprove naman tesda.

I think much better i-post ito dito. Ask ko lng po sana meron sa inyo nakapag extend ung validy ng IPA for S Pass? I already got mine approved but nasa pinas pa po kasi ako ang rendering my resignation. Sabi ng employer ko, nag apply na po sila ng extension. But 3 weeks na, wala pa daw pong update.

Ayaw naman nila ako papuntahin ng SG ng maaga to process my medical and issuance kasi mag babayad daw sila agad ng levy.

Sana po may makapag share ng similiar situation. TIA

Kelan ba expiry ng IPA mo, as long na di naman na apply pa yung Spass card mo hindi naman sila magbabayad ng Levy. You can come to SG as SVP muna.

You can extend the IPA for up to 1 month if you need more time. You are allowed to extend the IPA only once.

@maya - walang degree course ko, 3 years lang po. I am an EPASS holder din now pero nag start as SPASS.

Thank you carpejem! Up to May 20 ung validity. Pero mga 1st week of June pa kasi ako makaka lipad to SG. Applicable rin po ba ung extension sa S Pass? Kasi based sa MoM website, parang for Work Permit category sya?

approaching 4 weeks na kasi, wala pa rin daw update si MoM though nakalagay sa website, immediate processing
