Actively seeking a Job in Singapore

I just want to share you my experience here in sg,actually this is my 4th day now and I'm still looking for a job. Una sa lahat during my first day pag dating ko sa sg airport. update ko kaagad yong CV ko din nilagay ko yong SG number ko, nag submit na ako kaagad nong nasa airport pa ako..I submitted my CV thru my cp. After 30mins more or less, nong nasa mrt na ako papuntang Chinatown. May tumuwag sa akin na employer invited me for an interview sa office nila..kahapon our interview was done, and hiningi nila mga docs. Ko i.e.TOR, Diploma, Certificates etc. (btw: nasa insurance field ako at my 5yrs experience sa PH). My question is
1. tanggap naba ako sa kanila since kinuha naman nila docs. Ko?
2. If natanggap na ano kaya next step non. Is it for job offer?
3. If my employer ay ipaprocess na niya yong working pass ko mga ilang days kaya yon baga ma approve?(hopefully)
4. May na fill upon akong application form galing sa kanila declaring my salary, tama ba yong $2500 na declaration ko? Masyado bang mababa or mataas?
Sa ngayon nag submit parin ako ng application naka 100+ na ata ako but wala ng tumuwag sa akin.

So far based sa experience ko kinukuha lang docs once they confirm na hired ka na. Ganun din sakin kc in the absence of my colleague and may bakante kami, I conduct the interview pero pag process pa lang ng screening d namin kinukuha docs.

Yes, possible kc ganyan nangyari sakin. After I was confirmed sa position, next nag job offer na.

Ngayon medyo matagal ang processing ng PASS. Some take more than a week or two. Like sa case ng recent applicant namin it took more than 2 weeks going 3 ata bago lumabas result. Dati mabilis lang.

Actually yung minimum for SPASS would depend on your qualification, experience and age. You can try to do the Self-Assessment tool for you to have an idea magkano ang minimum na papasa sayo. Although, just to be clear, ung SAT can just give you a basis BUT is not guaranteed. It would still depend sa MOM that will process your application.

Actually hindi, haha! Sa Finance Dept ako. Multi-tasking dito samin. Tinuruan lang ako and binigyan guidelines if needed na ako ang mag conduct interview
@maya kinuha rin kanina ng employer yung documents ko, pero pina photocopy lang nila and sinoli original. Akala ko thizizit na yun or pasok sa banga lol. 1.5 hrs interview naubos english ko
Yes need mo original diploma, padala mo dito pag naappoved na pass mo.
@charycabz tama si maya.. hindi kukunin. wag muna isama ung frame sa verification
BTW - kung pupunta ka dito as tourist need ng RT atleast 1 week only para hindi ka gaanong pagphinalaan sa pinas.
- just in case na makakuha ka ng work at hindi aabot ung 30 days (SVP) mo, need mo lumabas ng SG. dahil nga sa kahirapang makalabas ng pinas papuntang SG, karamihan pumupunta sila ng ibang bansa like malaysia, TH, HK etc habang naghihintay ng kanilang work pass. (bawal magsimula sa work hanggat walang pass) at alam ng mga company yan.
