Any info (Dependant pass of S pass)

Currently Dependant pass of Spass po ako. Before nagwork po ako dito sa Sg under work permit linked to my Dependant pass. Totoo po ba na hindi na po pwede ngayon or hindi na po eligible ang pinoy sa quota ng work permit(not Spass or LOC) sa FNB industry? Ang pwede na lang daw po sa WP eh malaysian and from North asian countries like taiwan, south korea, HK and macau. Meron po ba kayo idea kung totoo po ito? Salamat po

@almaB Unfortunately, on Epass dependants can work. Those Dependants of S Pass holders will need to apply for a Work Permit, S Pass or Employment Pass instead.

@carpejem, thanks po sir sa reply. nakita ko na po sa MOM website yung policy nila regarding sa work permit. nakalagay nga po doon na hindi na eligible ang filipino sa work permit sa service sector at manufacturing pero sa construction eh pwede pa po. bali ang pwede na lang po sa service sector which is my field eh mag S pass ako at igive up ang dependant pass ko kasi nga po for malaysians and north asian countries na lang ang eligible for WP. anyway thanks @carpejem . May question lang po ako. Ung gf ko kasi na soon to be wife ko eh Spass holder. Possible ba nya ako makuha jan for dependant pass after marriage? Nasa 2500 ang basic salary nya at working sa government hospital. Or dapat tlaga eh 6000 pataas ang salary? Salamat @carpejem

kailangan 6k pataas. kht dka ma-dp, may reason kna bumalik balik ng sg kung may asawa ka. and mas tipid kasi may tutuluyan ka. hanap ka lang ng work para magkapass ka din.

@maya @carpejem salamat mga boss. Pero kung ganun ba eh mas malaki chansa na iconsider ako ng company if aapply ako for work? Mukhang hirap kasi ng online eh. D napapansin. Production at logistics kasi ang experience ko. Feeling ko for locals ang line of work na un.

hi emzified. Tama si carpejem, only DP of EP can work under sa LOC. Tama din si maya, so you have all the right na makabalik-balik sa sg, and apply for ur own work. Legal kna mag stay dito for a minimum of 1 month since andito asawa mo, dont forget to get copy of her OEC pra my discount ka as dependent pag paalis ka from Pinas, and copy of her IC pag papasok ka sa SG, pra hindi ka maharang sa SG IO. I know this kasi prehas tayo ng sitwasyon. #LabanLang

Meron napo work @emzified . Its a combination of timing and prayers. Lahat naman siguro tayo ay merong skills, pero ung timing, dapat merong hiring and merong quota (if S Pass) ung company. Always pray, eventually si Lord ang nkakaalam ng puso mo na makasama ung mahal mo sa buhay dito sa SG. He will give the desires of your heart. Keep praying and God bless sa job hunt bro!

@emzified , Im on Healthcare Engineering. Honestly, nag tighten up na ang MOM sa pass approval, di tulad dati. Unless meron ka talaga advantage sa locals, then they will prefer you. Not to mention ung quota. Always try to be positive, but also as a lot of people mentioned here, handa ka din kung ano ang kalalabasan ng pag apply sa SG. Nobody said it would be easy, but hey, if ur fighting because u want to be with ur wife, then go for it bro. God bless!

hi @emzified , hindi bro, Im at Field Servicing, so more like equipment supplier sa mga hospitals. Medyo magkalayo tayo ng field. I strongly suggest, pakasalan mo na si GF pra mas mahaba ka makapag stay dito sa SG. hehe. Apply lang sa DP, and see bka makalusot. Even if shes not earning 6k and working on an S-pass, pwde ka pa din ma approve ng DP. Hindi ka nga lang pwede mag work under LOC, the company still need you to apply for S-pass or EP. But the fact na pwede ka mag stay unlimited dito sa sg is more than enough for you to land a job. Maliit chance ma approve ang DP dahil sa salary constraints, but I got friends na na approve. Realy depends sa mood ng ICA. hehe. dasal lang bro!

Hello @RDG tanong ko lang if pano mag apply ng DP kahit Spass holder ung asawa mo? Ung husband ko kasi Spass sya and I need to stay longer here in SG dahil naghihintay ng result ng Spass application ko, gsto ko sana mag apply ng DP pra no need to exit na ult. Thank you in advance! God Bless!

@Xana if ang salary ng husband mo ay 6k pataas, pwede nya kausapin HR ng company nila. HR ang magaapply ng DP, hindi kayo mismo.

@Jamila , tama si kabo. 6K pa din ang requirement. And yes, yung HR ng husband mo ang mag aapply ng DP pra sayo. If meron ka hnhntay na IPA, then I suggest na mag exit nlng. Pag lumabas IPA, then back to SG. Nka ilang weeks na ba ang application? MOM says within 3 weeks. So depends ulit kung nka ilang weeks na ung application mo.

Hello po actually Dati ako s pAss nawalan ako work saka fed up na ko sa mga agent fees ng agency kapag ngpapahanap ng work kaya ng ask kami help sa boss ni hubby convert po sana sa dp pass bale 5000 un declared salary last yr oct 2017 pero plan ng boss ng husband ko convert sa 6200 civil engr po sya para ma dp pass ako.
Anu po advice nio po mkakapasa po ba ang 6200sgd. Salamat po

ang 6k is one of the requirement. it is not the only requirement

pero since abot na sa 6k, yung chances of getting approved for DP greatly increases

@Jamila , just a reminder, even if ma-grant ka ng DP but if your husband still holds Spass, you still need a valid working pass para makapag work. Un-like if EP sya, you just need an LOC para makapagwork. Para kang PR, na hindi need mag bayad ng CPF ung company mo. Kaya high chance tlga makakuha ng work pag DP under EP. But if the plan is for you just to stay here in SG, then all is well. Almost automatic po yan if declared salary ni hubby is 6.2K,
