Fly to SG without exit documents by using Travel Agents

Anyone who has to engage travel agents service to come to Singapore find a job or already found a job but does not have exit documents, please share.

I am being referred to engage this kind service as I need a worker soon. I would like to know the pros & cons.

  • Hi @cym , If you are the employer hiring and dont want them to settle papers before flying your prospect employee to SG, the only risk you will have is the Ph IO:
    1. If first time they will travel overseas, high chance that they will be questioned in Ph IO. They should be well-coached before and must answer them with confidence. If all the return ticket and accommodation are properly arranged, it can be a smooth pass, but no one can tell. Be prepared when they will be off-loaded in Ph.

    Now, SG IO, I assume that you will already apply for the pass before they fly in, so having IPA is a legal document they can show to SG IO and they can pass immigration without any problem.

    I got former colleagues who were hired from Ph but they secured all the documents (POEA, etc) before leaving the country because its their first time to travel. So, its also about the employee you're hiring, if they agree to fly to SG without proper docs. There is always that risk. Hope this helps.
