kung 3mos ka lang nagwork, pasok ka sa 61-182days na 15% tax. so itotal mo ung kinita mo for 3mos, times 15% un ang tax na idededuct ng company sa last pay mo at ireremit sa iras. malaki yan.

if 60days and less ka nagwork, short term lang yan, wala tax.
if 61days-182days, non resident ka, 15% tax.
Can an employer keep a worker's passport?
Employers should not keep the passports of their foreign workers or foreign domestic workers (FDWs). They should also not force their workers to give them their passport.
The passport belongs to the bearer and the issuing authority of the bearer’s country of origin.
According to the Passports Act, it is an offence to keep or withhold any passport which does not belong to you.
Good employers provide their workers with means to keep their passports and other belongings securely, such as a locker. The worker must have unrestricted access to the passport and belongings.
Workers whose employers insist on withholding their passport can contact MOM for assistance.
