Hi po, newbie here. Appreciate if may mga input po sa case ko.

S Pass holder : 2009 - 2016
First entry to Singapore : 12th June 2018
Travel to KL from SG : 06th July 2018
Travel from KL to SG : 12th July 2018 (Second entry to Singapore)
Last day of stay in SG : 11th August 2018
Pass application from Construction Company : 06th August 2018
Till date still "PENDING" : 08th August 2018

Ano po bang magandang gawin. San po ba mas mabuting mag exit, not considering na uuwi ng Pinas. Safe po ba sa JB while waiting for IPA? Baka kasi tanungin ako ng IO na ano gagawin sa JB, esp pang secong month ko na sa SG. I dnt think din kasi na they will take into consideration na may pending pass application kasi siguro they wont care about it. Thinking of leaving for Vietnam tapos dun na lang mag antay, sana makuha ang pass within 3 weeks.

    Better go to Vietnam and wait for the IPA there. For safety, you need RT going back to Phils pag sa vietnam ka mag entry. I would suggest exit to Bangkok, kasi maluwag tlga turista dun. Mostly no questions asked. Never pako hinanapan ng RT dun, eventhough meron nman kami, just need a valid Hotel accomodation, need mo nman tlga un pra pag stayan. So, its still up to you, either Bangkok or Vietnam. I would discourage going the JB way this time, nka pag Malaysia ka na and magiging obvious sa IO ung gagawin mong exit.

    hi @RDG thank you sa prompt response. Di ba sa vietnam we are allowed to stay for 14 days lang, so from Vietnam, i can go to bangkok and back to Vietnam or Bangkok to SG? Sensya na. SO need kong mag prepare nito :smile:

    *Ticket SG-Vietnam (upon exit sa SG) hahanapan ba nila ako ticket from Vietnam to Pinas or they dnt care. Experience ko kasi sa KL was, flight ko KL-SG pero strange kasi hinanapan nila ako ng ticket after SG (isip ko bakit nag care pa sila na pa SG pa naman ako, wala lang hehe)

    *Ticket Vietnam-Pinas (upon entry sa Vietnam) or di na necessary. Mahigpit ba sa vietnam, like papasukin ba nila ako even without next country destination or mas mabuti maghanda.

    Wala naman siguro problema sa iimig ng SG kung saan ako pupunta as long as lalabas po ako ng SG? Consider ko din kasi Thailand kasi may ma stayhan po ako dun. Ok din po ba SG-Thailand?

    @Megan_Gue , yes hahanapan ka ng return ticket back to Phils dahil hindi ka naman resident ng Vietnam or ng bansa na papasukan mo. SOP yan sa lahat ng bansa na meron kang RT (Return Ticket). Given lang sa Bangkok na napaka welcoming nila sa tourist, kaya hnd tlga naghahanap ng return ticket dun (personal experience). As I've said, Thai is the most easy and not to mention cheaper way of staying while waiting for IPA result.

    Hi @RDG and @Vincent17, update lang po. Andito na Po ako sa Bangkok. So far smooth ung transition (exit from SG and entry to BKK). Left SG on the last day of the allowable stay, akala ko nga ma question ako for using up the 30day period pero hindin naman.

    As to the entry sa BKK, no questions asked even onward ticket to next destination although I have prepared a confirmed tix to Manila in case.

    Better be secured and furnish complete and proper documentation in case needed. Dito na lang po ako mag antay Ng IPA. Sana po di na magtagal.

    Thanks bros for your responses. I have obtained S Pass approval on 15th August and flew back SG from BLK on the 17th. EVERYTHINg went smoothly. I already did my medical test and result will be ready by Monday. I have yet to post my success story. Medyo huminga muna from an 8 week-long ordeal. Tag ko kaya bros sa story ko soon.
