Already have an IPA and flying to Singapore, can you help answer a few questions for me?
So, the situation is: I am already hired and flying to SG with an IPA a week before my start date. My girlfriend plans to come with me and look for a job and is staying for 25 days. She has a return ticket while I don't have one and our accommodation would be in an HDB (with a pinoy family whom I talked to online). I have quit work to pursue SG and she's jobless.
My questions are categorized:
Immigration (PH)
1. Is it okay if I don't have a return ticket or is it better to get one for myself too (even with an IPA?)
2. What documents or papers should we have with us? Any important ids?
3. Would it be better to tell the immigration officer that we are planning to enter SG as tourists ONLY and with hold information about my employment (given this, I have to have a return ticket for myself as well)

Get a return ticket pero dpat mga 3-5days lng kc kung mhaba ang return ticket nyo mrami ng tanong c IO kung bat kayo mgttgal sa SG at for sure mahhold ka sa PH IO kc alam nla na mgwwork ka dito..Never show your IPA kc kung nahuli ka..hnd ka mkakaalis hnggat hnd npprocess papers mo sa POEA which takes more than 3 weeks.
2. No documents needed...Kung may ID ka sa previous employer yun ang ipakita mo pra alam nla na may work kang babalikan dito.
3. Act as a tourist..I repeat never show your IPA sa IO better lagay mo sa luggage. Mnsan tatanungin ka nla kung ano itinenary nyo sa SG kya be prepared at wag mxdo kabahan kc tinetest ka nla.
SG Immigration
1. Yes, you need to put the address or hotel address kung san kayo mgiistay sa SG.
2. Sa exp ko sinabi ko lng sa IO na may IPA ako sa luggage so wla ako nging problema. Ewan ko lng sa situation mo ngyn n ksma mo c gf. For me, I will act as tourist prin kc kung snbi mo sa IO na may IPA ka..iisipin din nla na mghhnap ng work gf mo. Bka may posibility na c gf nmn ang pababalikin sa pinas..
Thru personal exp ko yan so bka swertehin ka pero importante dpt may return ticket ka parin. Wait ka ng reply ng iba kc mrami n ngtanong same sa situation mo n nkapasok ng maayos dito..backread nlng po. Goodluck
how are we going to show proof for the approved leave of absence from work? pwede ko ba sabihin na naging verbal lang yung agreement with employer since i am using my vl credits?
for the coe, if i show mine kasi, dated feb 21 pa siya and i doubt they would say it is valid pa. i do have payslips until aug 30.
or do i just really show my company id and act as a tourist period?
