Spass already applied using old passport number

Hello Guys, I want to seek help lang po sana. napply na po kasi Spass ko last friday using my old passport number, ngaun since 1 year left n lang po yung validity ng pasaporte ko I decided to renew it kinabukasan which is saturday (DFA appointment slot suddenly open). Ngayon po ang tanong ko is ganito:

1. Makaka apekto ba yung renewal ko ng pasaporte sa pass application ko once na mapprove un at mag thumbprint nako?

I decided to renew kasi po hindi ko po alam kung pwede magrenew ng passport sa Singapore pagka naka SVP ka lang (which I think is hindi naman talaga).

Please enlighten me. Thank you.

Kung hanggang kelan expirationg passport mo hanggang doon lang ang ibibigay kung 1 year 2 months.. ganun din ibibigay sayo.

Hindi naman makakaapekto.. sayang lang kasi usually 2 years inaapply ng company.

@Vincent super urgent kasi yung position kaya ayun, pero sure sir na hindi makaka apekto?

baka same tayo ng scenario, yung pag ka kuha ko ng 2nd pass ko sa 2nd company di ko namalayan na mag eexpired na pla passport ko hehe pero 2 years pa din nakalagay sa pass ko bali ang instruction saken ng hr namin pag ka nag parenew na ko ng passport pwede na daw ako sarili ko update yun sa mom database, create lang ng account sa singpass gamit ng ic mo pag nakuha mo na tapos dun pwede mo na update yung number at expiration ng passport.

mas mabute na din siguro ask mo hr mo kung anu gagawin mo para masolve kagad yan. goodluck

@Teddy hindi naman kasi ganun din ako dati.. 1 year 6months nmn ako.

@Teddy wala naman epekto sa application mo, yun nga lang yung expiry mo yun din ilalagay nila sa pass mo

@Teddy punta ka embassy paextend ng passport, kasabay ng pagrenew, pwede un kht nakasvp lang, basta may IPA kna at contract.

ung case ng friend ko, 1yr nlng validity ng passport. so nung naapprove ung IPA, lipad sya dito as tourist, nagemail sya sa phil embassy for urgent appointment, ang reason is para sa issuance ng spass card, kinabukasan nagreply naman agad ang embassy at inischedule sya the next day for extension of passport at renewal of passport. bilis lng. so ayun, extended na passport nya at nung inissue pass nya 2yrs validity.

Hallo BROTHER @Teddy - pwede yan. Minus 1 month para me 1 month ka pa as visit pass at panahon para makapag-empake in case hindi kana ma-renew. 1 year passport magiging 11 months spass.

Extension of Passport validity for Pass renewal and travel
Effective 01 January 2016, the Embassy will extend the validity of a Philippine passport only on the following three conditions: (1) the passport is an electronic passport, (2) the passport holder has done a recent passport renewal (i.e. to renew the current passport), and (3) the passport extension fee of SGD 34.00 is paid.
The extension of passport validity usually applies to individuals who must make an immediate Pass renewal or make an overseas travel in the immediate future before the new passport is available for collection.
Individuals who have a need for an immediate passport renewal or immediate passport extension may make the request to Passport Section with an email titled “Request for an immediate passport renewal and passport validity extension” to [email protected].
The extension of passport validity unconditional and free-of-charge was only temporarily effective for the period 19 August 2015 – 31 December 2015. Beyond this period, the conditions for the extension of passport validity take effect again.
