I haven't compared it to LBC though but from my experience over the years wala akong naging problem sa box ko.
Usually ang price sa LP ng boxes hindi nagkakalayo, $5 to $10 difference. Im just not sure bakit ganun kalaki ang difference from LBC.. better check the location and size ng box if you are comparing it apple to apple.
But if you are happy with LBC then go.

Speed post using Balikbayan box? hindi ba based on weight yun?
I use speed post to send gifts to different countries. US, Chile, Vietnam, Philippines and China. mahal sya and by weight or size ang price nya
dumating naman lahat ng package sa mga pinadalhan ko noon. ung iba sobrang tagal lang talaga (one package i sent to chile took 3-4 months! PH is usually about 14 -30 days )
