Worried about new employer

Hi Maam and Sir!

I work here in singapore last july then unfortunately my employer didnt get the project who am i supposed to deploy. Then told me they have to let me go after 2 months of working for them. So i resigned to this company and tried to look for another job. So this past few weeks im able to find a job and they said they will going to apply an Spass for me. However i think their company is not stable as they are small IT firm around 5 persons lng nkta ko sa main office nila. I searched on google but i couldnt able to find any reviews for them and check on their website i also couldnt find any clients involve to them. So hinire nila ako ng all around IT Engineer For all of their clients. I have some offer from other company but they cannot afford my asking salary but this company are quite big than this company who can afford my asking salary. So i have a doubt na bka sa sobrang liit and mukang di stable san nila kukunin ung sahod ko. So i only have 2 more weeks here in singapore before my visit pass expire. Should i go for it?

Small firms with less than 10 employees do not mean that it is not profitable. Aanhin ko naman ang malaking kumpanya kung hindi naman ako satisfied sa sahod ko.

Should i go for it? - If I don't have other offers then I will go for it

malay mo may sister company na nag support o check mo yung mga clients baka bigatin, kung wala kana ibang offer kunin mo na tsaka kana lang mag hanap ng more stable kapag working kana ulet.

@Kebs uu nga kabayan eh Kaso na trauma kasi ako sa previous employer ko n dumating sa point n kelangan ko umalis dhl wala sila pambayad.

@marilyntungcao hindi mo malalaman kung hindi mo susubukan. wala sa dami ng tao ang sukat ng magandang kumpanya. may kilala ako na 9 lang sila sa opisina so iisipin mong maliit, pero 100+ sila, nasa labas nga lang palagi yung iba

try lah.. kapag hindi ka nakasahod ng 1 month magisip kana.. haha dito nga madelay lang ang sahod ng ilang araw pwede muna sila ireklamo.

I work in a small company too. 5-10 persons only. Chill lang work compared sa work ng mga kakilala kong nasa sikat na companies pero super stressed naman sila. The compensation is almost same, so bakit ka pa lilipat sa malaki and popular na company.

kung yan lang way para magka pass ka, go for it, tapos hanap ka nalang malilipatan
pero pag may chance naman makakita ka ng iba, good for u!

@marilyntungcao , kami nga 3 lang sa company. Haha. Anyway, mukha namang iisa lang ang payo ng lahat. Take that offer and hope for the best. Nothing to lose but more to gain na ang sitwasyon mo.

Girl, startup companies are usually like that. small, bigger salary but more responsibilities. That doesn't mean that it is not profitable. some start ups grow fast and some fails.

Stability wise, medyo hindi ka sigurado. But hey, come to think of it, even bigger companies shuts down. Retrenchment, bankruptcy, etc. So you'll never know.

My company right now was a start-up, grew big and is doing well after 3 years. I hope it goes well din sayo.

Take it if you like, but be wary of the responsibilities..mostly one man team sa ganyan. goodluck! @marilyntungcao

Guys tunanggap ko na ung offer pero. May prob lang kasi i was an IT 1st level support lang tpos inooperan nila ako ng system engineer for all of their clients. Sinabi ko na wala ako alam dun sa servers. Pero willing ako matuto Sabi nman nila ok daw... ok na ba un?
