Hi po, curious lang po ako. is Cellphone po ba is ok na para mag-apply sa SG or need talaga ng laptop? salamat !

@jarvz kung wala kang laptop try mo manghiram. You'll be more productive with a computer in doing online applications here, trust me. Don't settle sa phone lang.

@jarvz - sa lucky plaza at little india maraming narerentahan ng computer (desktop), I think $2 or $3 / hour.

So if in case budget constraint sa pagbili ng laptop try to rent out sa mga ganun places. Or better check mo kung saan location ka magstay if may malapit na internet shop doon.

Also check mo if may free wifi doon sa location na tutuluyan mo.

Actually pwde din naman sa phone pero you have to prepare your templates in sending email saka mga lista ng emails na papadalhan mo. (so aagregate mo na ito habang nasa pinas ka palang).

Ex.

1. List of all recruiters emails
2. List of companies to apply
3. CV/Resume
4. Template to send to employers/recruiters.

I would like to apply for the position . Below are my details:

But in my opinion mas magiging productive ka if you use laptop or desktop sa pag-aapply...

mahirap magapply ng walang laptop dito. karamihan sa IT need mo magsign up sa kanilang website.

mas mura laptop dito kaysa sa pinas kung may plano kang bumili dito nalang.

I agree with @Vincent17 may mga open position na bago ka makapag apply need mo sign up ng profile sa company mahirap pag sa cellphone lang gagawin

@Vincent17 nice advice, jan nalang siguro ako bibili if ever. Pwede naman din siguro credit card gamit ko rin jan pagbili ng laptop.

kung ang purpose mo lang naman para sa laptop ay para sa paghahanap ng work. jan ka nalang bumili tapos 2nd hand unit mas mura dyan tingin ko.

@jarvz Dalhin na ang desktop! hehe. Seriously, if talagang matyaga ka sa Mobile phone mo, pwede mo gawin lahat dun. Kasi pwede na din mag attach resume thru phone. Kasi ung ipangbibili mo ng laptop, pwede mo i-save pra sa expenses here and pang exit, if ever. Kung sa convenience, yes of course, laptop will be very handy. But depends on the budget that you have, and yun na nga, gano ka katyaga mag browse and signup (pra sa ibang site) thru ur mobile. But mostly, you can apply via apps like jobstreet, jobsdb, monster, LinkedIn, etc.

Dalhin mo rin yung old school na monitor ah + keyboard na white + mechanical mouse. hahaha
