Hi po kaPSG, ask ko ln po meron ba dito na based sa PH pero ang sahod is pumapasok sa banko sa SG? pano po yung gnawa nyo para mkpgapply ng debit card sa SG? pano po ung mailing address? thank you!

    better check mo ung bank requirements online. pag spass holder kasi need ng proof of residency in sg, tsaka ung work pass. not sure for foreigners outside of sg. pwede siguro, pero mas mahigpit at siguro mas mataas ang deposit na kailangan.

    @jaegu - yung saving account ng DBS or POSB nagpro-provide sila ng ATM (Which is Debit Card), and I think most ATM dito ay ganun.

    If you have a friend dito pwde mong ilagay yun as mailing address then sa Online Banking mo gawin mo nalang na puro "e-Statment" para walang papadala na physical copy.

    If magre-remit mo naman yung money from SG to PH, gamitin mo yung DBS Remit para kahit nasaan ka pwde padala. (Thru online banking).

    @maya @thematrix salamat po, mukang un tlga way manghiram ng mailing address sa kakilala, hindi na siguro need iregister yung name sa unit?

    @jaegu - I remember when I opened nung 2007 yung IC ko lang kinuha, wala pa din akong residential address that time at kahit anong billing dahil 1st week ko palang sa work at yung accomodation ko is sagot ng company. So I know IC lang makakapag open ka na.

    mahigpit na ngayon. dati di rin required initial deposit, ngayon sa posb at least 3k sgd na. sa ocbc at least 1k. nung first time ko magopen 2016, sa posb, kailangan ung proof of billing address nkapangalan sayo. eh bago lang ako nun so wala, pero ung IPA ko may address na, so un ginamit ko, inaccept naman. tapos ngayong 2018, sa ocbc same requirements, passport, employment pass, and proof of billing address. try mo magsearch ng requirements sa bank website, ang categories lng ay Singaporean/PR, Foreigners working in sg, Foreigners studying in sg. may employment pass kba? Required din ang personal appearance kpg first time magopen. I doubt if mkkpag-open ka ng bank account dito na wala ka dito at wala ka din employment pass. Unless? Investor ka na malaki ang idedeposit mo, baka may paraan.

    @maya thanks po sa info, ask ko nln ung friend ko since pag approved na ang pass need nya magpamedical dito sa SG, at the same time pwede na sya pumunta sa bank para mkapag open ng account. ang inaalala ln nya is hindi sya dito sa SG magwowork kaya hindi nya need magrent, un nga ln need ng address sa unang open ng account. haha gulo, patry ko nln sya punta tlga dito. salamat uli

    @jaegu - it needs personal appearance when opening bank account. Better tawag ka nalang sa prefered bank na gusto mo magopen.. they can assist on faster and accurately on the requirements :)
