Message from MOM on borrowing money in Singapore

In case hindi kayo naka-receive ng memo sa opisina nyo or email, babala mga ka-pinoysg -

The Ministry of Manpower would like to inform all work pass holders of recent regulatory changes involving those who borrow money in Singapore.

Work pass holders MUST NOT borrow from unlicensed moneylenders.

Unlicensed moneylenders offer loans through various means, such as social media, phone calls or text messages. Do not respond to these loan offers.

Work pass holders who borrow from unlicensed moneylenders will be debarred from future employment in Singapore.
