Transfer of Release of New Passport
Magandang araw mga kabayan!
Sana po okay kayong lahat.
Tanong lang po, sino naka-experience dito na ipa-transfer ang release ng passport from Singapore to Philippines? Nag renew po ako ng passport last March 11, sabi 6-8 weeks release. Pero lipad ko na po pauwi ng April 29. Medyo worried po ako na hindi pa ma-release dito sa SG ang new passport ko before my flight. Balak ko po sana ipalipat by May yung release at sa Pinas na since 1 month naman vacation ko dun. Possible kaya to? Or may naka expereince na ba ng ganito? Thanks po sa sasagot.

Hello Cesska! I had the same experience last year. Nag renew ako ng passport sa SG nung September pero biglang kinailangan ko umuwi ng October. What you can do is email [email protected] then request ka na sa PH mo na lang kukunin yung new passport mo. They will reply and may ibibigay sila na form and instructions then follow mo lang. Nakuha ko yung sa kin sa Cubao last January. HTH. ?

@Kuneho btw bakit parang natagalan yata pagclaim mo sa Pinas? Bakit January pa depende ba pa sa availability sa DFA ang pag claim? 1 month lang kasi stay ko sa Pinas.

Sept. 21 - Passport renewal at SG
Oct. 15 - Went back to PH
Nov. 19 - Sent a request to release my passport in PH
Dec. 23 - Received an email saying my passport is ready for pick up
Jan. 13 - Got my new passport
Takot po kasi ako lumabas dati kaya hindi ko kinuha agad yung passport ko. ?.
