Isa pa po question ko 13 years experience po as an Operations Clerk pero fresh grad lang po ako under ETEEAP program, Undegrad of BS Information Tech 3rd year. Nagresign na po kasi ako sa work at plano ko yung makukuha kong separation pay yun ang gagamitin ko pang gastos para makapag walk in ako jan sa sg. Hows my chances of getting a job in SG po kaya? Galing na din po ako jan sa Sg 1 week vacation lang recently lang din po. Kaya eager na din ako makapagwork jan.

Tapos kakasya na po ba maximum 2 months ang around 2700 hanggang 3000 sgd? Para sa dalawang tao naghahanap palang ng work?

Better pdin po ba atleast 4000sgd dala namin? 100,000php palang kasi sure money namin eh. Eh given sa laki ng sgd ngayon, yung 100k namin, almost 3ksgd lang.

iha hindi nakasalalay sayo ang pagkakaron mo ng work dito. at ang makahanap ng work within 30days ay napakataas na pangarap. pero gaya ng lagi kong sinasabi, kung para sayo ang trabaho para sayo yun.
tbh napakahirap maghanap ng trabaho dito. ako na matagal na dito nagtatrabaho at nagtry ako magsubmit submit ng resume ulet pero walang nagrespond sa akin
on another note, hindi nyo naman kelangan mag exit agad, pwede kayo mag e-xtend at kung papalarin na ma approve mabibigyan kayo ng another 30 days at hindi nyo na kelangan mag exit.

@alingnena we appreciate po all the replies kahit good or bad. Kasi in the first place kami naman po ang nagstart ng thread. It's up to us naman po kung itatake namin yung mga negativity. And it's better parin na alam namin ang estado ng job hiring ngayon. I'll keep on posting questions until our flight date to the day we arrive in sg and please be there padin po to guide us. Flashback: I remember my gf pushing me almost everyday to try our luck here sa SG last year. Sya din yung sobrang risk taker saming dalawa. Syempre ako tong takot, ayoko talaga. Pero in the end, I must say na yung risk ng pagpunta namin dito yung isa sa mga turning point ng buhay naming dalawa. Ngayon, nagiipon na ko ng pampakasal namin. LOL.
Ang motto namin nun ay, kung makahanap ng work, thank you Lord. Kung hindi, thank you Lord pa din.
Tama ka, maging successful man o hindi, it will be a very meaningful time sa buhay nyo ng bf mo. At least magkasama kayo na susubok.

1. God bless your plans. Be positive and have determination, wag mong isipin na mag two months ka dito , isipin mo 2,weeks makahanap ka na.
2. Yung 3-4K (dalawa naman kay) would be enough, tipid na laang.
3. Nag try ka nabang nag send ng Email mo dyan? this can help. ito rin ang gagawin mo dito
Opo bali po nagawan naman na namin sya ng paraan 4ksgd na baon namin. Nakahingi ako ng pandagdag kay lola haha. Bali super tipid nalang muna kami talaga.
And yes po nagsend send nako noon kaso no replies. Tas kanina lang inupdate ko resume ko. Mas pinaganda at mas inemphasize yung experiences. Magsesend ako ulit sa next off ko until the day we depart. Haha. Thanks po!

ako din still searching for a job pa rin kahit nasa pinas na ako ngayon.
my story: Went to SG last April to find a job. stayed 30 days but unfortunately no interviews. bumalik ako ng pinas then after 2 weeks meron ako na received call for interview. bumailk agad ako SG with the risk of ma offload PH or SG Immigration pro i was lucky nkapasok ulit ako ng SG (dahil cguro GSS). Unfortunately, my interview did not go well. still continue ung application ko online while staying for another 30 days. now, balik ulit ako ng pinas.
I am not discouraging you with my story. I am still positive na mkkahanap ako ng work sa SG. I am still continuing my application online kahit nasa pinas na ako ngayon.
