Tipid Tips in Singapore
Just sharing my views on how you can save a lot in SG.
1. Use Credit Card wisely and take advantage of the perks. I use credit card in most of my transactions especially for big transaction amount.
you must know which credit card will give you more benefit . A good example is when going for grocery. Citibank SMRT for me is the best as you get 5% citi credit on a all your purchases. you can convert you credit to grocery vouchers when you reach $50 citi credit. If you are purchasing appliances that costs thousands of $. use the creditcard that will give you the most cash back or rebates. previously Standard Chartered Manhattan is the best in this area as they offer 5% if you reach $3000 or above. it's instant $150 off when for example you are planning to buy a high-end Laptop. Make sure you are able to pay your purchases at the end of the month.
2. Get a Health Insurance. Medical Insurance is a must in Singapore. if you are a professional and has a plan to work more than 2 yrs here. i would advise you get a personal insurance of your own. critical illness or emergency admission to hospital will burn all your hardwork in just a matter of days. insurance costs only 200 to 400 per year. yes! per year divide it to 12 months will cost you around $16 a month, compared to thousands of dollars you will spend when you get admitted in the hospital.
more to be added .... share yours as well.

4. Buy "Luxury" during GSS or during events, you will save a lot. but before you buy, do your research first to avoid being scammed or just ended up buying something that's not worth during roadshows or events.
I have 2 main concerns regarding my stay here:
T.T). Kailangan ko ba talaga ng Credit Card?
2. Insurance - Eto na naman ako, sabi nung HR namin may insurance yung Foreign Employee as per MoM regulations but I am not quite sure because based sa understanding ko, dapat work related injuries lang. E what if nagkasakit ako ng hindi related sa work, ubos yung maliit na savings ko. T.T. Ganun ba yun? Should I get another insurance or masasayang lang?
Kindly enlighten me. Thanks guys.
5 days a week. Yung work ko siguro, kaya tapusin ng 3 days, the rest tunganga mode. Sporty? Hindi. Tulog, nood, kain lang ako.
Si gf hindi din stressful ang work.
Pero kinakabahan kasi kami baka bigla magkasakit or what.
Si gf kasi, may Pru UK insurance perk from company.
E ako yung normal lang na insurance as per MoM regulation. $15k a year.
Tinatanong pa sa kasambahay kung ilang beses kami nagluto or ilang beses naglalaba, or gumagamit ba kami ng supplies nila at worst of all, pinapatay ang WIFI!!!! DUHHH! @!$##@$!#@ Taena yan.
Thank you Lord. LOL
sobrang dami... hahaha
bakit?
