SPass Holders Going on an Overseas Trip

Guys, I have a question.

Nagpaalam kasi kami na magleave for 5 days and we are going to have a vacation sa *insert asian country* here. So no need to apply for a visa.

1. May papers pa ba na kailangan iprocess sa Embassy or whatsover katulad ng OEC pag uuwi ng Pinas?
2. May need bang iapply sa MoM? O basta nagpaalam sa employer at pumayag si employer ok na yun?
3. Makakaenter and exit naman kami ng SG ng matiwasay di ba? As long as dala namin yung SPass namin at passport?
4. Need pa ba namin magfill up ng embarkation/disembarkation card? Lahat ba ng bansa may ganun?

Need your advise, 1st time magtravel as tourist sa ibang bansa departing from Changi Airport both of us are holiding PH passports.

1. Ang OEC ay para sa mga OFW lamang na uuwi pinas, kaya dna kelangan yan ksi in the 1st place dka nman dadaan pinas immigration..
2. wala kana kelangan iapply sa mom..
3. yes, basta dala nyo spass nyo at passport.
4. dun sa pupuntahan nyong bansa yes, pero pagpasok nyo sg wala na.

Kung nag bigay kayo ng thumbmark nung kumuha kayo ng pass, pwede nyo gamitin yung Immigration Automated Clearance System papaalis at papasok ng SG. Siguro naman na biometric na yung passport nyo di ba? Enjoy yout trip!

The enhanced-Immigration Automated Clearance System (eIACS) provides efficient and secure immigration clearance at the checkpoints by harnessing biometric and automation technology. It enables Singapore Citizens who have already registered for their identity cards (i.e. their fingerprints have been captured in our National Registration database) and in possession of valid machine-readable Singapore passports to clear immigration via the automated gates on their own.

eIACS is also extended to the following categories of travellers automatically without the need for them to come to ICA for enrolment as long as they hold valid International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO)-compliant machine readable passports which have been updated with ICA or Ministry of Manpower (MOM):

(a) Singapore Citizens above the age 6 whose fingerprints have been registered with ICA during application for the Singapore biometric passport;
(b) Singapore Permanent Residents above the age of 6 whose fingerprints have been registered with ICA;
(c) Long Term Pass holders above the age of 6 whose fingerprints have been registered with ICA; and
(d) Work pass holders (i.e. Work Permit, S-Pass, Employment Pass and Dependent Pass) who have registered their fingerprints with MOM.

Lakas makapromdi nung machine.

So dalawang beses pala, una is passport, then pangalawa is thumbprint.
What if pumila pa din kami sa normal na counter? Pwede din yun di ba?

@jrdnprs , yup dalawang beses. Sa dulo nun may immigration officer na magveverify nung passport at boarding pass mo. Pwede ka pa rin pumila doon sa counter. Mas less hassle lang doon kung sakaling mahaba pila sa mga counters.

Mas mabuti ng harapin ang machine kaysa sa tao para sakin. hehehe ....

Lahat naman may pers tym .......... at masasanay ka rin kung uulit ulitin.......

pag pumila ka sa normal lane, sasabihin sayo gamitin ung machine next time, or papupuntahin ka doon mismo.

ganun nangyari sakin nung kasama ko parents in law ko nung sinamahan ko sila sa pila.

nung huling gamit konga ayaw gumana ng right thumb ko, nakalimutan ko may left pa pala haha..

@AhKuan gusto ko lang i-share na nakagamit ako ng eIACS kanina lang nung lumabas ako ng SG. Dun kasi kami pinapunta nung isang officer sa kabila nung machine (yung nagvavalidate ng passport) eh pa-pila pa lang ako nun sa IO counter. Gusto ko masigurado na walang magiging problema kasi may experience na ko sa IO last yr haha. Pero, nakalusot naman ako gamit yung machine, at tinignan din yung passport ko. Hindi rin kinuha yung disembarkation
card ko. Binalikan ko nga sya nung narealize ko na wala akong exit stamp. Pero sabi nya, kung dumaan ako dun sa machine, wala na ngang stamp. Would you know kung pwede na nga sa tourists yang eIACS? Kasi hindi ako pass holder sa SG. Ang working pass ko ay issued ng Malaysia.

@burubum Usualy wala ng stamp pag galing ka sa eIACS. saka pa-exit ka naman ng SG, baka yung passport mo naka record pa doon.
