Undergraduate looking for a job in SG

hi, plano ko po makipagsapalaran sa SG next month. Undergraduate po ako pero with 9+ years of experience sa call center, mostly back office (fraud). May chance po ba na maka-kuha ako ng work dyan? Meron po ba dito may success stories na mga undergrads. or meron po ba sa inyo currently naghahanap ng work dyan. pashare naman po ng experience nyo pls. Thank you in advance.

pero kahit po yung kaibigan ko na may degree ganyan din po lumalabas... ano po kaya ang qualifications? pareho kasi kaming hindi qualified kahit sya may degree...

@Valmont07 brad subukan mo taasan sahod sa assessment. Play around with it.

Since 9 years experience mo, kelangan mataas sahod mo dito (taking consideration ang edad at experience).
Example: 4 years ago, 8+ years call center experience ko nun sa pinas. 4.8k "unlikely" ako sa assessment for EPASS, pero 5k "likely" na.

Let's say "likely" ka sa certain amount, keep in mind na yung company na kukuha sayo dapat ganun ang ipapasod. Otherwise, marereject lang

Mangilan-ngilang barkada ko na inassist ko sa call center industry dito and not to discourage you pero it seems na kelangan degree holder to get at least an SPASS (I might be wrong to this). Sa 6 na inassist ko, 1 lang nagkaron ng work dito (work permit type: spass, salary: 2k plus, years of experience sa pinas prior: 4 years) Basta wag ka muna magreresign at napakahirap makahanap ng work sa call center industry dito.

I'm speaking for call center jobs lang ha, I don't know for other industries.

@Valmont07 gaya ng sabi ni Kebs mababa ang chance, not zero pero mababa, one factor yung wala kang degree another factor yung 9yrs experience ka pero hindi senior/managerial ang role na hinahanap mo. dito kasi experience plays a big part, kung lateral movement lang ang experience mo for 9yrs at no niche and specialized skillset mahirap talaga, tapos hindi pa call center hub dito, mostly local customers ang sineserve which requires a third language.

Guys Im having anxiety na tuloy. Di ako makatulog. Ako merong degree sa Business Management tapoa 5 years+ experience sa BPO. Pero mga 1-2 years per company. Insurance. Billing, claims, sales admin. Possible kaya na makahanap ako ng work dyan? naka book na ako to Singapore this May.

@cheskapot wala naman makakapagsabi dito ng iyong kapalaran. tuloy molang, basta prepare molang ung sarili mo kung hindi ka man makahanap ng work.

Mahirap talaga makahanap sa ngayon, hindi dahil walang vacant kundi sa quota for foreigners sa mga company. and also ung hinahanap mong work ay kadalasan para yan sa mga local..

@cheskapot lahat nman meron chance makahanap ng work kayalang sa linya po ng work mo madami kakompitensya una npo mga local ditto. pero wag po mawalan ng pag-asa kasi meron nman ibang kumpanya mas prefer nila mga ibang lahi..

walang zero chance, laging meron no matter how slim, nasa sa inyo na lang pag assess ng risk at chances niyo.
walang makakapag guarantee dito ng resulta niyo, always case to case basis, mapa-praning lang kayo kakahanap at kaka compare ng experiences ng iba sa magiging experience niyo.

@popoy boss kung ok lang, pede bang malaman sahod nung undergraduate? So high school diploma lang dineclare nya kasi din naman qualification ang undergrad status, tama ba?

Magkakaiba po kapalaran ng bawat isa satin. Malalaman mo lang po yun kung gagawin or susubukan mo. Ika nga nila, Just always have a positive mindset. Good Luck po!!!

Hi mga ma'am and sir, yung mga professional cetificate ba like Microsoft e nakakadagdag sa assessment ng S pass? 2 years college grad ako, with 5 years overall xp, (3 years tech support L2 and 2 years IT) And MCP certified by Microsoft. Try ko po kasi next year din magtourist
