    sabay ka na rin....magdrawing......
  • hi @stacey, whatsapp/viber or imessage me at +65 8298 7244.
  • @popoy hindi nga kami talo ni @Bert_Logan paulit ulit ay.. Hahaha. Tah asan na pala ung irerekomend mo sakin? Drawing lang din ba yon? Hahahaha.
  • @magoy - considering qualified professional ka and you passed all requirements, magkano ang average upfront expense per pax to migrate in Canada?
  • @Kebs, this is only what i know from my limited knowledge, the PR application fee is 500CAD while the landing fee once your PR is approve is 490CAD.

There are several ways to get the PR in Canada and under the Express Entry process, there are three programs that can be used. The one for the professionals is one of them but there are also other programs. Some of them will not require show money (like the one for professionals that has job invite) but from what i know of those programs that require show money, i believe you cash or asset of approximately half a million PHP.

As for the processing fee by the accredited immigration representatives under ICCRC (the regulating body for immigration consultants in Canada), i know that it could go as high as SGD15K as one of my indian staff used an immigration agent here in SG and that's the amount she paid for their services. She was able to leave in 6 months time.

But the rate of these ICCRC accredited consultant varies. The one i know charges only about SGD6K and they normally offer discount promo during certain periods.

The charges of these consultants are quite stiff but it almost guarantees your PR in 6 months time. They will normally do an in-depth preliminary assessment and they know how to strategise and develop a client's application to get approval. They will normally tell you if you will not pass and will not recommend you apply if you wont be able to pass the criteria, that is why the success rate is in high 90's. Of course you need to make sure that they are accredited by ICCRC (you can easily checked on the Canadian immigration website if an agency is accredited on not).

To summarise, total cash out will be about SGD8k to SGD18K, depending on the consultant you will engage and the program you will use. If you want to know more about the details and to make sure of the figures i stated, i invite you to attend the orientation about this on Monday, 22 May 2017. We still have a few seats available and i can send the invite quickly once i get some basic info. No need to worry because this is absolutely free and the immigration representative will not make any follow up on the attendees.
  • To those who attended the orientation, thanks for spending time to check out the orientation. We will have another one in July. I will keep everyone posted.

    Thanks a lot.

hehehe @Suddenly_Susan ask mo sina @stacey at @Bert_Logan kakatapos lang nila magtampisaw dun..
  • @Suddenly_Susan that was a pic 10 years ago pa, so sobrang malayo na yan sa katotohanan... hahaha...

Anyway, tama ka, madami nga na gusto eh sa weekend so i asked my friend to have the next schedule done on a weekend. Most likely it will either be on the 2nd or 4th Sunday of July.
  • Baka na sa timing din yan @AhKuan Kasi pag landing mo the ticking time is on na for survival so you if u dont find ur ideal job you take what you can get. Thats the problem with indepenent migration, sometimes swertihan din..

Most successful immigrants I know ay yung mga pinadala sila ng company nila (from home to host na transfer), hence they do a job that commesurate with experience.

  • hi @AhKuan yes, you can definitely get a job muna kung gusto mo na may siguradong work pag land mo as PR. Once na approve na PR application mo under the Express Entry program eh ilalagay ang CV mo sa job bank (kasama to sa program) para makita ng mga employers. They can make you an offer at kung gusto mo yung offer nila eh you can accept and then process na pag migrate mo. Once kasi na approve ang PR eh meron kang 1 year pa para mag wait if you dont want to go right away. You can also choose to decline and wait for more suitable offers.

If di ka na maka wait eh malaki naman chance na may makikitang kay job dun and if not, me jobless compensation sila hangga't wala kang job.

Yung case na nabanggit mo na nag-aaral bago makakuha ng parehong trabaho eh either under sa Temporary Resident Visa program na nagpupunta to study and work tapos after 2 years pa pedeng mag PR. Or pede rin naman na technical ang job at kailangan na ma certify sa Canada. For example, if CPA sa tin eh iba ang equivalent na level dun so kailangan nya dumaan sa certain certification process. They can opt naman to challenge and take the test right away if magaling sila pero in most cases eh nag aaral muna sila to get a better chance of meeting their requirements.

During the orientation that my friend run, she would normally show jobs that provinces or companies are looking for. If you get selected sa jobs na available, mas madali na approval ng PR mo at me sigurado ka pang job pag land mo sa Canada.

Tama rin si @Suddenly_Susan kasi if you can do any work dun eh madaming job na available since kulang sila sa tao at PR ka naman pagdating mo dun.

Pero as i said, if someone feels na kaya nyang tapatan standard ng qualification nila without studying further eh pede nila i-challenge yun para mag pa certify agad. Minsan naman me mga companies na based on the work experience eh kinukuha na ang applicant kahit lacking certification pero bihira ito so to ensure na mapapractice and profession the usual route is study then take the test.
  • @magoy do u live in Canada or SG? Or half-half?
    (may asawa ka na ba?)
  • @magoy Salamat po sa pag linaw.
