  • Nasa pinas si admin ngayon.
  • hi all, musta ang pasko at new year? eto nakabalik na. bukas pasok na ulit.

    @adrix16 anong lanugage hawak mo?
  • @ianne anong work ng asawa mo? medyo malawak ang IT.
  • @Vincent17 mis po kasi sya for 5 yrs
  • Sofware and hatdware daw po
  • Hello po... i am new to this site, so apologies kung minsan medyo wala ako sa hulog....

anyway, i am planning to be in SG by 14-Feb-2017, and i was planning to find for an IT job (hardware).... maybe Network or Systems Engineer/Administrator? or any technician job?

PM nyo nlng po ako for my CV....

    Maraming salamat po in advance.
  • Hi @Admin , planning to apply as Network Engineer in SG. magkano po kayo budget ko pagpupunta ako jan? I am currently working as System and Network Engineer here in Philippines.

    Best regards.
  • Hi sir/mam , I am currently here sa pinas and landed a job there in singapore pero still waiting pa po sa approval from MOM ng sg. Ask ko lang po sana if may needed documents ako kunin from POEA na kelangan ni immigration during the flight to SG? Thanks.
  • @neonballroom hello! na-key in na ba sa MOM yung application mo? Ilang days na pending for approval?
If lalabas ka "officially" as OFW, need mo pumunta sa POEA with passport, IPA, Job Contract. Ibibigay sayo yung process: magre-register ka as OWWA member (may payment din), magpapa-medical exam, magbabayad ng Philhealth fees and magaattend ng PDOS.
  • @arvs0z hi. Thanks for the information. Actually kakapasa ko lng nung mga requirements na hininge ni employer and i guess d pa na key in sa MOM. Do you have an idea kung magkano ung fees sa pag process sa POEA. Mejo worried kaso ako pag pumasok ako as tourist. Thanks.
  • edited January 2017
POEA processing fee : US$100.00 or PHP equivalent
OWWA membership fee : US$25.00 or Php equivalent

Nandito yung complete list ng requirements and fees: http://www.poea.gov.ph/services/workers/doc_namehire.pdf

Good luck!

So update lang, I just got home from SG and a couple of things I learned:

    1. Trend daw ngayon is mobile and Java
    3. After chinese new year daw is ung best time na mag jobhunt
(Paki correct or reply nlng if you have different insights about these things)

    I am worried about:

    1. Bakit yung iba kahit nsa pinas pa may tmtwag or nag rrespond ng employer?(dahil ba pangit lang ung months na nagaapply ako or bka dahil sa experience ko or bka dahil hindi INDEMAND ung skills ko?)
    2. Is it best na maghintay lang tlga muna sa pinas?(pero I am planning to resign na then 1 month ako don magjobhunt then pg wla pa ,extend(pwede ba tlga?magbabayad lang?sabi ng kakilala ko).
  • @adrix16
Ilang days ka sa SG? Not to let you down, pero I have a friend na nag apply (Web dev din pero heavy sa PHP/HTML5/CSS, Apache/Tomcat, IIS a.k.a backend) last November and pabalik na sa SG para mag start.

    1. Most probably sa experience yan (and how you reflect it sa resume mo). Siguro if less than 2-3 years, I would suggest na work on building your experience further sa PH.
Though you will have to consider yung time din kasi baka need mo pang mag serve ng notice period.
You can try to apply for an e-extension for free (though di kadalasan na naa-approve).
  • @adrix16

    2. Is it best na maghintay lang tlga muna sa pinas?(pero I am planning to resign na then 1 month ako don magjobhunt then pg wla pa ,extend(pwede ba tlga?magbabayad lang?sabi ng kakilala ko).
    - Walang best time or season to apply, only best skills and experience with a little dash of Luck.

  • Kapinoy-SG, anyone na nag aaply for IT security field??
    esp. CISCO devices.
  • Hi mga kabayan..currently andito ako sa sg ngayon bka meron din nag jjobhunt jan na IT field bka pwde makisabay or bka may alam kaung mga opening na pwdend pag pshan ng CV or walk in. Thanks!
  • @arvs0z released na ung IPA ko just need to fly to singapore nlng to start sa work. I just have some questions regarding entering sg as a tourist.

My plan is to enter as a tourist and dun ko nalang process ung mga documents ko. Scenario is my RT ticket ako and my accommodation na din sa hotel. Just want to get your feedback regarding dun sa plan ko and if my tips pa po kaya mabibigay para d magkaproblema. Thanks.
  • @adrix16 nag start siya sa Pinas. Tapos na-phone interview and pinag 2nd interview sa SG.

  • @arvs0z thanks. Hopefully lahat at di magkaproblema.
  • Good pm Admins and Job Hunters including me =)

Any assistance coming from you guys na makakatulong samin or referrals. Im in the IT Industry for about 7 years almost with exprience na din in a different roles IT Engineer(Hardware) System Engineer(System Monitoring/Analyst then almost 3 months pa lang sa pagging SysAdd =) usual thing na alam natin kahit gano kalakas Credentials mo sa job pero pag di ka tinamaan ng luck wala din.... kaya isang malaking factor talaga na mismong kababayan natin yung makaka pag refer.... Wish us a goodluck !! be positive.. start now not tomorrow d2 literal na time is gold sa pag hahanap ng work... ------> Thanks for the concern PH =)
  • @Admin sir meron bang instances na willing to wait yung employer to render atleast 30 days? plano ko kase mag job hunt for 30 days and then if luck strikes me at makahanap ako ng trabaho. will go back to ph and render to my current company. possible po ba yon? thank you!
