JOB-Hunting Websites

Hello Fellow kababayans!

Newbie here. (Account created minutes ago)
I'm planning to test my luck when it comes to job hunting in SG by next year, probably March 2017.
And as early as now, I am trying to collate information re: processes and all related to employment in SG.
Ask ko lang, ano anong website or platform or app do you use when looking for job in SG?
Ang alam ko lang kasi are:

Lina JobStreet
Monster
LinkedIn

Aside from those, wala na ako alam na iba pa. baka pwede nyo mai-share.
And if may thread na about dito, kindly comment or let me know.
Maraming salamat!

PS. I am looking for a place to stay also for three weeks, but will post in a different thread and category.

CHEERS!

  • Stjobs.sg try mo. Then diretso pasa ka. Mahirap makipag sabayan sa mga popular sites like jobstreet at jobsdb.

Gumtree, fast jobs, snap jobs.
  • thanks @stacey will take note of those apps
Need nyo mag walk in walk in sa lahat ng establishment dito. At pag may nakita na kayo na hiring tanungin nyo if applicable ba un sa foreigners. Trust me. At syempre pinaka importante mag pray kayo. Mag set kayo ng isang time everyday at mag pray kayo. Wag kayong titigil at magsasawa. Hehe

Then para makatipid kayo isang araw punta kayo sa isang place lang then from there search2 kayo ikot2 hanap ng work doon. Hehe

  • Hi Guys,

Newbie here, planning to go there Q2 this year, my job as Project Management analyst (PMO) in IT is somewhat sprouting like mushrooms kaso wala akong experirnec on how to look for job. All my online application is rejected since I have 60 days turn around and alam ko hindi mag hihintay si employer unless super galing ko. Is it better to apply directly? I have a brother there kaso full of nega so Im going on my own risk, better try than not at all. Anyone who can get me some tips on the following would be appreciated so much. Salamat mga kababayans.

    -transient cost
-daily budget for travel, food etc (kapiraso lang naman akong kumain)
    -application strategies (like waiting time)
-and how long should I stay there to get a job

    maraming salamat. Peace!!!
  • edited January 6
    - transient cost > 300-400 / month
    - daily budget for travel, food etc (kapiraso lang naman akong kumain) > morning till evening food (kung sa labas ang bawat kain) and travel cost siguro $20 - $25 per day
    - application strategies (like waiting time) > be prepared, be confident, be honest, waiting time can be 2weeks to 4weeks, plus pa yung pass approval na possble few days to 2 months in some cases.
    - and how long should I stay there to get a job > to some 1 month is enough, to some hindi, payo ko eh kung umabot ng 30days hindi ka pa hired, ihanda mo na ang budget mo for your 2nd to 3rd month.
