consider mo yung tax, housing cost, and transportation cost, kung IT ka most jobs nasa city center/downtown areas, flat or room rentals possibly higher, kung sa mga outskirts ng city/downtown area ka naman, relatively cheaper pero gano ba ka efficient yung public transport (travel time + frequency ng public transport) to/from home/work.

niresearch ko na yan years back, yan yung prime factors that made me decide to stay here, kung outside town titira mas mura at pwede naman kumuha kotse pero additional expense din yun plus maintenance.

More convenient = shorter trips + airline options + cheaper to travel to ASEAN & EMEA countries from SG. Pero kung non-issue naman sayo yung extra hours + extra cost + extra layover during air travel, I guess ok lang to move there.
Helpful :) maybe 100k aud is good na per year, may savings pa.
Family sila at nasa Telstra siya ngayon at IT field din. Annual niya around 70K and so far ok naman daw.
  • @AhKuan family of how many? both husband/wife working? combined annual income na ba yung 70k?
  • @tambay7 Family of four.
  • Yup, moving/relocation is always expensive for families, unless may expat relocation allowance/budget na bibigay company.
