  • EXITTTT TO WHERE

@cheesey , if 2nd exit na, meaning you will have a total of 90 days pag papasukin ka. I would say the chances will be slimmer especially kung hindi ka nag stay ng matagal sa ibang bansa dun sa 1st exit mo. If 2nd exit na, dapat ang plano mo is uwi muna Pinas and recharge. Pero kung merong inaabangang IPA, then might want to consider going to Thailand or Hongkong and stay until ma aprub ang IPA, tsaka bumalik dito.

@jayzie pwedeng maging blessing in disguise yung pagkakauwi ng isang Pinoy. :)

  • Chances of a board passer in landing a job in SG

hi @mangyan2301 , congratulations for being one of the board top notchers! Hindi ko alam sa field ng CPA, but hindi nila masyado pinapansin yung board exam sa Pinas, unless mga certification yun from International standards like CISCO, SIX SIGMA, etc. For normal accountancy job, I think you can practice, but being a CPA, need mo mag take ng Singapore local certification. I'm a board passer, though not top notcher (inside the top 100 lang, :D). Nagamit ko lang sya once sa Pinas, then nung dumating ako dito, palagi ko fino-flaunt ung board exam score ko, but never ako tinanong regarding dun. Mas intresado sila sa naging experience ko. Definitely, meron kang edge, but I suggest give it a 2 years experience in Pinas, para you can start strong pag nag apply kna dito sa SG.

@jayzie , appeal will still take within 3 weeks. So prepare ka pa din sa ganung timeline. However, if pasado ka both sa EP and SPass, sana nai-apply nlang sa EP. Are they considering SPass or EP only ang nakalagay sa application kaya na reject at hnd na auto downgrade sa SPass. Daming scenario dyan sa rejection, kaya mapapaisip k nlng. Hehe.
