  • Maraming salamat @Michaeltan! Very helpful po!

    - Verified Contract from embassy (may red ribbon)
    - Sworn statement (pag wala ka nito, may form silang ibibigay sayo para pirmahan mo on the spot)
    - Passport and Spass card photocopy

Mahaba lang yung pila kahit 9am yung schedule, pero yung mismong processing mabilis lang, less than 5mins yung sakin, Php100 bayad then print nalang online yung OEC
  • Hi ask ko lang po ung acra need dn ba nung nag update lng company sa embassy?nag pnta ksi ako dun pra mag date ndi nmn nila snabi na need dn nung acra..my bnigay lang n form na papapirmahan ky employer then balik for collection nung authenticated docs...
  • @robert that is good to know na may OEC kana. So yung 3 nasa list mo yung needed na requirements lang talaga? wala nabang PDOS at saka agency requirement? total of how many days yung nagamit mo sa pinas para ma process lahat?
  • @O17_insik in total isang araw lang nagastos ko sa pagprocess ng OEC, yup di rin ako nirequire ng PDOS saka agency requirement, but note na yung work ko is software developer, I think kasama sya sa professionals category kaya di sya required sakin. And as far as I know di na need ng PDOS sakin kasi meron na akong verified contract and nakapag medical narin thru company.

    1. Signed employment contract
    > valid ba ung digitally signed? Kase sinend lang sakin ung contract via website (docusign)
    > kelangan ba lahat ng page may pirma?

    2. Acra?

    3. Ipa
    4. Passport

    5. Identification ng signatory ng contract

    > mukhang malabo ako makakuha neto kase mejo pumirna ay country head HR. Malamang hindi ibigay
  • @robert naupdate ba yung bmonline mo nung emergency oec mo?
At the same time, nag request din ako ng Certificate of Employment - - i think ito ginamit ni @robert instead of IC ng signatory ng contract

    NON-OEC EXEMPTED OFWs

Workers who are not exempted from applying for OEC include, among others, the following:

Workers who are not previously registered with the POEA – workers with no existing record of deployment with the POEA or POLO. This may include those who left the Philippines as tourist, student, dependent, etc.
Workers who changed employment on-site – workers who transferred or entered into a new employment contract from one employer to another.
Non-OEC exempted workers are advised to take the following steps when applying for OEC:

For workers with no previous registration with POEA:

Submit employment contract to the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore for verification and authentication. Please see the requirements for verification and authentication of contract below.
Collect the verified and authenticated employment contract from the POLO after five (5) working days.
Apply for OEC at the POEA in the Philippines. Present the verified and authenticated employment contract to the POEA in the Philippines when applying for OEC. Please note that the POEA will require the presentation of other documents like proof of current employment (e.g., current certificate of employment, valid company ID or recent pay slip) and sworn statement of the worker providing explanation on how he/she was hired by the current employer.

Eto po ung checklist n need papirma s employer. take note kng ano lng ang applicable s contract mo un lng checkan. hindi kailangan lahat may check.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONTRACT VERIFICATION AND AUTHENTICATION

Before applying for an OEC or before the scheduled date of appointment for OEC, the OFW who is not exempted from OEC should first have his/her employment contract verified by POLO and authenticated by the Consular Section of the Philippine Embassy in Singapore. Verification and authentication of contract takes five (5) working days.

The following are the requirements for verification/authentication of contract:

For S-Pass/E-Pass Holders and Work Permit Holders who are Non-Domestic Workers

    Signed employment contract (one original and one photocopy);
    Company registration/business license (e.g., ACRA/BizFile) (two photocopies);
    Valid S-Pass, E-Pass, Work Permit or IPA (two photocopies);
Valid passport of worker (two photocopies); and
Any valid Identification of employer/authorized signatory to the employment contract (two photocopies)
  • @shakiraaa nagbayad keo para makuha acrabiz file? ako ginogoole ko lng tpos screenshot tpos print. tinanggap nman. un din advise skin s embassy last Jan. saka bkit hindi n pwede mag OEC? samantalang s website mismo ng embassy natin nakalagay dyan n pwede pa. ka email ko p ung tiga POLO at OWWA nung inasikaso ko yan. sumasagot sila s email at sumasagot din s tawag. well may mga pagkakataon n walang sumsagot s tawag.
  • @maya nope, max of 3 hrs lang. di na papabalik balikin... in case lesser ang queue, less than 3 hrs. scope: still about first timers and those who got employed or transferred to another company

    Hi,

    Thanks
  • Naprocess sa pinas yung akin arvin. Emergency oec tawag, valid for 24hrs.
  • edited July 2019
@arvin.00 yup bro, almost 2 hours lang ako naghintay sa pila sa POEA main office, although yung sched ko is 9am from bmonline appointment, nagpunta ko sa POEA office ng 7:30am, pero madami na nakapila agad, so agahan mo nalang din. Basta kumpleto requirements, mabilis lang.

@eyprileypril I think yung sakin is hindi emergency oec kasi nagupdate sa bmonline. Sa POEA main office mo ba nilakad yung sayo or sa airport?
  • edited July 2019

As in tourist ang labas sa ph and wala record sa poea pa?
Pinaghahalo nila yung may appointment saka yung walk-in, pero prioritized yung may appointment. Agahan mo lang ang punta.
  • so.. sa pinas na talaga kukunin OEC kapag first time.

    Grabe daming dagdag bayad ah:
    2. Contract Verification : SG$17.00
    3. Contract Authentication : SG$42.50

  • OEC Application for FIRST TIMERS

    IMPORTANT: Read embassy's instructions/requirements first.

    https://www.philippine-embassy.org.sg/labor/direct-hiring/registration-oec-issuance/

    Here's my personal experience

    PART I: PH Embassy

Step1: OWWA Membership, I submitted the ff:
    + bm online info sheet
    + Contract
    + passport photocopy
    + pass IC photocopy
+ ACRA bizfile (nabibili to for 5sgd, i think no need to buy as long as meron kang Company Registration No., sinulat lang ni kuya yung reg number sa info sheet ko eh)

    Paid SGD 36.00
    Time spent: ~15mins

    Step 2: Contract Verification/Authentication

Tinanggap ni embassy as is yung contract ko. Importante sa kanila talaga is if incase of repatriation of remains, dapat sagot ni employer. In my case.. By the way, fyi lang.. Yung contract ko, digitally signed ng HR and dept head. So no issue kay embassy kung digitally signed.

Paid SGD 17 (for contract verification)
Paid SGD 42.5 (for contract authentication)

    Time spent:
~1hr waiting time to be called
    ~30mins actual processing

Release of the verified and authenticated contract was scheduled 4 days after submission.

    PS:
Mag photocopy bago pumuntang embassy. At least 2 copies of ur docs.

Nag ready din pala ako ng COE and payslip just in case hingin. Hehe

Also d ako aware dun sa format ng sworn statement(how did i get my job here etc.) if i need to follow a certain format then need ipa notarize somewhere

UPDATE: OEC Application for FIRST TIMERS

    PART II: POEA Philippines

Here's my personal experience. Nagpa sched ako sa POEA Duty Free Paranaque. Mas onti ang tao. My entire experience was good, mababait naman sila and mabilis naman. Hehe

    Requirements:
    + Info sheet
    + passport
    + pass

Step 2: Valuation window - submit all requirements

Step 3: Bayad center window - pay Php 119 for OEC

Step 4: OWWA - register and pay if wala pa.

    Step 5: Pag-ibig (HDMF) - contribute 3/6/12 mos worth

    End of process. Hehe

    Time spent:
    ~1.5hrs incl waiting, processing time
