  • yung insurance ba ditto for maternity coverd din sya international? what if sa pinas or ibang bansa ka manganak?

ask ko lang mga experts if yung medical check up like high blood tapos need follow up check up every 6 months (not me sa myanmar colleague ko) dapat ba ang company magbayad sa medical incurred bill?

    ive read mom na -
Medical reimbursements and salary during sick leave
If you take paid sick leave, your employer needs to reimburse you for certain medical costs and pay your salary.
Your employer must bear the cost of your medical consultation fee.

    and
Under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act, employers must pay for the medical expenses of Work Pass holders.

  • Any GP checkups and followup and also SP visits with GP Referral is covered nung company medical subjective doon kung hanggang ilan ang limit. Pwedeng covered lahat or pwede din co-pay.
  • @AhKuan i see so dapat ba ang company magbayad sa check up ng s pass workers? kasi yung company namin consultation lang ang na reimbursed. like sa case ng colleague ko sa high blood check up nya out of 400-500 medical cost ang na reimbursed lang ay consultation fee which is around 80. binasa ko sa mom na If you take paid sick leave, your employer needs to reimburse you for certain medical costs and pay your salary. ibig ba sabihin nito is total medical bill for the check up?

Tulad samin, may annual limit kami na 2K for GP consultations.

    Exclusions

No benefit shall be payable for treatment related to or complications arising from any of the following occurrences:

    e) Pregnancy (including diagnostic tests for pregnancy), miscarriage (except due to an Accident), childbirth, circumcision (unless recommended on medical reasons), tests to do with and treatment for impotence, sub-fertility and infertility, charges for abortion (unless recommended on medical reasons) or sterilisation, and contraception.

@Samantha it all depends sa group insurance coverage ng plan ng employer niyo, at bare minimum eh consulation fee lang talaga ang covered, which wala ka na magagawa dun since yun lang ang kaya ng employer insurance coverage niyo, certain medical costs does not equate to full cost of medical expense.

Galing sa link na pinost mo above:
    Medical reimbursement

If you have worked for at least 3 months:

Your employer must bear the cost of your medical consultation fee.
Your reimbursement for other medical costs, such as medication, will depend on the medical benefits in your employment contract or the company’s collective agreement with its union.
If you fall sick during public holidays, annual leave, rest days or non-working days, you will be able to claim reimbursement for medical consultation fees.

salamat sa mga replies. ito may copy ako sa policy. sa clause 8 (limitation and exclusion) - hindi kasama ang panganganak nyan? i think sa clause 2 (benefit / claimable) parang hindi cover ang panganganak. as attached
