  • kwento ko lang yung officemate ko pinoy, nareject ung renewal ng pass niya dahil sa salary requirements. wala na sana balak iappeal ng company dahil siguro ayaw na din iincrease ung sweldo, maghire na lang ng mas mababa sweldo. pero dahil sa lockdown at rejected din lahat ng new pass applications, no choice kundi i-appeal ung rejected pass nya, pag renewal kasi pwede pa which is good news. kahit papano, na-save siya ng covid19 hehe

  • @maya na approve? sana nman.
@kabo Correct. Well, better than no job at all. I always look at brighter side of things. Mas marami p din kababayan natin ang sobrang nahihirap lalo n ngyon s lockdown.

  • @zhypher33 yes naapprove, tumaas pa sahod nya. tuwa nga kami lahat.

    zhypher33

May approval dapat.from MOM.

    =========================================================================================

As of 21 March 2020, Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has revoked the work passes of 89 work pass holders for breaching entry approval and Stay-Home Notice (SHN) requirements.
Of the 89 work passes revoked:

    • 73 work pass holders with travel history to COVID-19 affected countries1 entered Singapore without obtaining entry approval from MOM

    • 16 work pass holders were caught breaching the Leave of Absence (LOA) or SHN requirements. Some were caught working at their workplaces. Others were caught leaving their place of residence during the period of their LOA/SHN, even when instructed not to do so. Many of these violations occurred during the first month following the imposition of the SHN requirement. In the second month, the number of violations fell to 4.

The workers have been permanently banned from working in Singapore. MOM has also suspended the work pass privileges of employers for periods ranging from one to three years, as they have failed to discharge their duties to ensure that their employees comply with the LOA/SHN requirements.

REMINDER TO ALL EMPLOYERS AND EMPLOYEES

As entry approvals and SHN are now required for work pass holders entering Singapore from anywhere in the world, employers are reminded to seek approval using the online facility for work pass holders to enter or return to Singapore. Employers should inform their employees not to make travel plans to Singapore until approval has been obtained from MOM.
Upon the employee’s arrival in Singapore, they will be required to serve a mandatory 14-day SHN. Employers and employees have a joint duty to ensure that employee behaves responsibly during the SHN.
MOM will continue to take enforcement measures against errant employers or employees who do not comply with the requirements set out above, including the revocation of work passes and suspension of work pass privileges.
Members of public who have any information on work pass holders or employers breaching the SHN requirements can email MOM at: [email protected].

  • +82 new cases ng Covid-19 satin. Sad but i am expecting this to be hundreds on a daily basis lalo n kapag dumami p ung tests kits.

    zhypher33
  • Good to know na umaaksyon na rin ang MOM about sa Sunday off ng mga kasambahay. Its a matter of when magkakaroon ng infected cluster kung patuloy silang di magiingat.

Last Sunday I over heard from one kababayan natin na Pinay venting out her frustrations sa impending directives ng gov abt Sunday off.

  • @ladytm02 Its part of who we are, unfortunately. Ganon ung kultura natin eh...

  • matanong ko lng pla. Regarding sa latest restrictions sa SG. How does it impact you? Please share your experience.

First time namin magwowork sana sa sg. Mukhang lahat ata ng bago nirerereject talaga

  • @baconcheese nakakalungkot naman. sayang ung opportunity :( magtry kayo ulit after nito..

    https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/failure-to-keep-1m-apart-could-result-in-a-fine-jail eto yung bago

hinahanap ko pa yung official info from moh about this

The possibility n mag WFH is if mag lockdown tlga ang EsGee.
