Spend more time applying via LinkedIn. I use linkedin 90% of the time. Likewise, look for HR Talent Specialists or Dept Managers na related sa field mo. That is how I actually applied. Long story short, I was offered jobs by 2 companies, Seagate and Jabil. I chose the latter for remuneration reasons. Been here in SG since 2012.

@mcbmaya hello po, balak ko po mag tourist papuntang SG tapos maghahanap po ako ng work doon sa accounting/finance field. pero naisip ko na rin po sana magpasa ng online 1 or 2 weeks bago ako pumuntang SG at gusto ko sana SG number and address sa SG gamitin habang nandito pa ako sa pinas. kaso wala ako kakilala duon. pwede rin po ba ako makasabay ng simcard from SG sainyo po? taga bulacan po ako, pero may kamaganak po ako sa maquiapo, pampanga.. salamat po ng marami.

@mcbmaya bawat bili mo simcard nakaregister sa name mo yan. pag na-link ang simcard sa scams or anuman, ikaw liable. tsaka baka mapaghinalaan bakit andaming simcard nakapangalan sayo. so ingat lang.

Each NRIC /FIN is allowed to register up to 3 Prepaid SIM cards from any of the Telco as mandate by the Authority IMDA. nabasa ko lang sa news. pede daw makabili ng 4th, pero madedeactivate din automatically.

@maya ahh okay thank you. If ever po ba kapag nagpabili ako ng SG sim. Paano po ba yon inaactivate? Dapat ba doon palang sa SG ipangalan na sa akin.?? Paano po ba yun?

Hi papunta po ako SG this coming June 28. and problem ko is ako lang talaga mag isa mag travel and first time ko mag travel abroad. masisita po kaya ako sa immigration?
btw. sa field po ako ng accounting/finance. if ever po na my need po sa company nyo baka marefer nyo po ako. thanks alot

@Milka Upon purchase of the simcard, matic na nakapangalan na yun sa buyer coz the seller will ask for the buyer's passport / IC for scanning and registration. It's not that easy na makibili sa iba ng simcard dito. Like what maya had said, the "registered user" shall be liable and responsible for the simcard and everything that'll happen on that purchased sim card per se (i.e. lalo kapag nagamit sa scam). So be very cautious about this. Thanks

@jen707 hi maam apply na kayo 2 weeks before kayo pumunta dito mag pass na kayo resume. much better kung may sg no. and address na kayo.

wala naman masama mag travel mag isa. Sa law natin as long you have valid passport and may kakayanan ka mag travel hindi ka nila pede pigilan. just relax lang wag ka kabahan sa IO ng pinas hehe.

I think maraming nais mag-apply sa sg dito nang hindi nalalaman ito. Sa construction sector (Field engr, designer, planner, QS, BIM modeller, drafter, finance & accounts, admin/doc controller, atbp.), pwede kayo tumingin sa website na ito pra sa listahan ng lahat ng registered contractors/subcontractors dito sa sg:

Makikita nyo dyan ang pangalan ng company, field of specialty, grade, contact number at mga address. Oo, walang email, pero madali na yan i-google pag meron nang pangalan ng kumpanya Puhunan mo lang dyan sipag at tyaga. Isa-isahin nyo yan at sendan nyo lahat. Simulan nyo sa letter A.

I wish alam ko 'to nung nag-aapply ako pra hindi ako inabot ng walong buwan kakahintay kasi ang alam ko lang jobstreet, indeed, jobsdb at stjobs. Well, good luck mga kabayan!

@Milka Mas maganda po magpasa muna kayo ng cv at least 2 weeks to a month before you come here in SG. In your letter of application ilagay nyo na nandito kayo sa SG from XX to XX dates (your itinerary) for face to face interview. Some companies are willing to wait naman, tsaka mas maganda na paglapag nyo ng SG may mga naka line up na agad kayong interview para panigurado.

Some companies use whatsapp so pwede mo ilagay ung whatsapp registered number mo kahit PHL number. pero mas maganda kung meron kang kakilala dito na pwede mong pakisuyuhan na mag receive ng call nila. Upon arriving here pwede ka magtanong sa airport tourist desk kung may promo sila ng sim. minsan kasi nagbibigay sila ng free or discounted sim basta magpakita ka ng passport, or you can buy from the stores kung kaya ng budget mo.

Good day Kabayans, ask lang po ng help, nagja-job hunting ako now baka me alam po kayong available job sa retail industry. 1 week na po akong naghahanap isa pa lng ang interview ko. Is it true ba na it takes 2 to 3 weeks na ang pagprocess ng SPass approval sa MOM?
Advisable na po ba ang mag Agency na lng kesa sa walk ins and on line application?
Any reviews po sa HR Millennium na agency? Maraming salamat.

@nuancedebleu just keep sending applications. 1 week palang yan, don't give up! some could took 3 months to have job. Usually 3weeks maximized processing nila. Okay naman ang Agency huwag ka lang magbayad muna.
