Online po ba or pupunta ako sa ICA with new passport + photocopy + ICA receipt.
Salamat
  • Yes it's very difficult to get PR. I'm Fil-American, Single, 30, 3 years in SG, 180K base salary, Rejected Yesterday...
  • Update ko lang po, walk-in po ako to update ICA about my new passport.
  • Hello, Ask ko lang po saan po pwede magpa medical exam for PR requirement and how much?
  • @Jacob aw. I think race really matters.
  • nagwork ako for 3 months in a company here in Sg. kaso nagsara na sila and i can't get COE. papano kaya yung diskarte dun?
  • @Alicia san mo gagamitin? for PR Application?
  • @Lablab requirement ba medical report for PR application?
  • edited April 2017
@Jacob ikaw na. fil-am tapos 180k salary, thats like 15k per month. kaway2 sa mga less than 3k jan. hanap ka nalang ng local gal, mahilig yun sa mga angmo =D
  • @Alicia mejo malabo case mo kasi d alam ng readers situation mo. if wala ka existing company means wala ka na work at no valid work pass? i dunno if pwede yung spouse mo gawin as main applicant.
  • @lablab....s Raffles hospital pwede k mgpmedical, I think sila ndin mgpapasa s immigration nyan.
  • @Samantha1 yes po for PR requirement.

@Lea1977. Refer nila sa ibang clinic or hospital na may xray or polyclinic. Sa SATA amk branch open sila til 9pm. $47.00 lang. Complete na po yung facilities nila.

@Lablab hindi ko kasi nakita sa form na required ang medical check up. nag ask din ako sa mga kakilala ko who applied this year and they dont require medical check up for PR application. i think for single applicant no need medical check up.

  • @Samantha1 - I have a gf who's pinay and we're both here together. Since we're not married, we applied for PR separately as singles - my application was rejected exactly 4 months from the date of application. Malas! Hers is still pending.

I am quite convinced salary plays only a fraction of the criteria. Admittedly I've made zero effort in trying to "integrate" with the local community and most of my activities involve fellow pinoy expats or other foreigners, so perhaps part of the strategy should be making sure your FIN number is tagged in some form of local community involvement.

Some also say that if you're not Chinese, pretty much expect to get rejected multiple times until you make lusot.

@jacob salamat sa info. pwede ba malaman field mo ? mas advantage ata ang mix pinoy kesa pure pinoy. in your case fil-am =D
  • @Samantha1 medical po for confirmation ng PR. Just got approved this month after two tries. 1st apply Aug 2015, (rejected) 2nd try Nov 2016. Then this month dumating letter. Approved po
  • @Samantha1 - I'm in banking, but not the glamorous side, I work at the back end 'behind the scenes'.

I really doubt they care that much whether you're pure pinoy or mix haha. In terms of race, I keep reading the hierarchy goes something like this:
    1. Chinese
    2. Malaysian
    3. Indonesian
    4. Everyone Else. (Maybe India is in there somewhere)

Oh well it's all speculation at the end of the day, as there are no published guidelines. Just gotta keep making subok...
  • @Lablab Congrats!

    wow..meron pa palang naaapproved kahit papaano..congrats @lablab

  • " From 1 April 2012, the Government will introduce a new scheme to help Singaporean families with foreign spouses. This new scheme, known as the Long-Term Visit Pass-Plus (or LTVP+), will provide foreign spouses of Singapore citizens who qualify, with greater certainty of stay here by granting the holder a longer period of residency. LTVP+ holders will also be eligible for healthcare and employment benefits. "
USually daw nagrereset yun end of the year. Mas ok daw mag apply 1st quarter of the year.

    example
100 ang quota na iaapprove nila for a year...
    20%- chinese
    20%-Malay
    20% -Indian
    40% others
    -pinoy
    -thai
    -angmoh
    - iba pang lahi...

Apply namin Nov 2016.

Promise.. it helps.
